And WB, it's this pretty in about the central (triad) area of NC. So the mountains aren't the only thing beautiful. LOL

Here's a few pictures of some of our pastures. I took these Monday, when it was cloudy and rainy, so they aren't the best. Today's sunny so hopefully I can get a few new ones sometime soon :

As we were headed back home the clouds started breaking up and this is what came next:

After we got back home my dad called as he was coming down the interstate towards home and asked if we could see the sunset. We can't see it good here because we're surrounded by trees, but we could see around it, and it was the prettiest pink and purple, you could ever see. It was beautiful! I didn't get any pics of it though. Sorry!

Very pretty, I love the picture of the clouds! It's gorgeous down here too - all the trees are red, orange and yellow - I love it! :) Especially driving home through the mountains in the evening with the sun coming through the trees... *sigh* :cowboy:

How unfair! You get to drive home thru the mountains and see the sun coming through the trees???/*tsk tsk* Not fair!!!

:p I drive through the mountains where my school is in order to get back to the mountains where I live. Then I have to drive through more of them to get to my Aunt's house, if I'm so inclined. :D

Thanks for all the wonderful comments! Most of the leaves are falling off now, and I haven't gotten a chance to go back over and get any more pics, because the leaves just aren't as bright now. :( Sorry!

Great pics. Fall colors are very beautiful. Unfortunately, most of ours are down, and we have to mow them buggers.

My dad had to grind leaves yesterday in the front yard. :) The goats like picking the others up in the pasture.
