View Full Version : WHY!!?? stupid Windows Movie Maker!!
I just want to rip my hair out!! When ever I try to import a video it says..
The file C:\Documents and Settings\dee\My Documents\My Pictures\Kodak Pictures\2008-10-26\100_2664.MOV is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.
Ok so why isn't it supported!? And how do I fix it!!?? Please help!!

It's because .mov is a Quicktime format. Now I'm not sure how to convert a file from Quicktime to a format that Windows Movie Maker supports, but that's your problem.
Thanks Jackie! I think I figured it out.. I got Movavi(A video converter.) Hopefully it works! :)

And that should be the answer. My mom asked a computer savvy friend and he told her to download a free converter it might have been that one.
Ya to bad the converter I used put text across my whole video!! :(

Must be that you have to purchase it if you want to convert without the watermark.
