I went out to the horses again today ^^.

Their owner decided that Trigger needed to be clipped and asked me to do it,now, I've never clipped a horse; or said I have. She said it didn't matter if I messed it up - which was good. Hair everywhere mind; if I get a horse I'll pay someone to clip it!

Anyway - pictures anyone?

and no set would be complete without Sammy

I rode Sam, it looks like me going out on a Saturday will be a regular thing now! He was a total brat, he's pretty much forgotten everything we worked on about not bolting and not bucking  but it was brill to be back in the saddle with him. I love him more than I can actually say; he galloped down the field to come and see me when I called him, he is such a goof. (:

Hmm, pictures aren't showing up from me. I am sure you did a better job than I would have, though! :p I am glad you are getting to ride Sam, you must get more pics/videos!

Hmm...I used the built in forum album thing..
I don't think I did...the legs were all wonky :D
Tell you what, I'll swap my-really-rather-rubbish clipping skillz for your pwnsome-bareback skillz; fair deal? :p

I took the camera out today to get more riding pics and vids but....I forgot the batteries. I'll try and get a video of one of his spazzes at least; they're entertaining.

You beat whoever decided to shave one of the mini's at my old barn. The poor thing looked like a poodle with a bad hair job.

It actually looks really nice, especially if you haven't clipped much before!

Trigger is a 10hh Shetland that I've been 'riding'. xD

My feet are just off the floor and we don't go faster than a walk but it still looks hilarious!

Thanks guys :) iheart - they show up for everyone else....hrm...

Lol, must be like clipping my dogs!!! I body clipped several draft mules once and that was enough to make me swear off clipping for the rest of my life!!!

Well, it doesn't look too bad when it's not full size and it's a little blurry. Sometimes that's all you can hope for with a first clipping job! :)

Looks like my poor kitty when I had to shave her due to matting - the groomer gave her a "lion cut" with long hair on the legs/face/neck and bald everywhere else!! I swear she was too sad to go out in public for days...
