Reasons I cannot be a vampire...

Well I've been trying my hand at putting up garden fresh items and such and overall trying to become self sufficient. Last nite I put some garlic in the dehydrator to preserve my excess for later use.

This morning when I walk into the kitchen you can really smell the garlic in the air. I breathed deeply and thought it smelled sooo good. (I love garlic) And so I came to the conclusion that I absolutely CANNOT be a vampire.

Not that it was concern in the first place or anything! ;)

LOL!! I thought this was going to be one of those threads about "Why I'm a Vegetarian" or something like that. :hysterical: Glad I was wrong. I love garlic too!

I put garlic in everything I cook =. even my kids love it. Never thought about drying my own though. I might just try it.

I love garlic! I put it in everything. My hubbys always saying how he doesn't like it:innocent: if he only knew.

I LOVE GARLIC!! it goes in everything and i have a bunch growing in my indoor planter box. i cant wait till its ready to eat. if i was a vampire i would be so dead. lol

Lisa: since starting my journey of trying my hand at canning and stuff I also had some herbs that I didn't want to go to waste, so I started letting them dry and save all my used up spice jars I get commercially to store them in. I had extra garlic (have some planted) and certainly didn't want to waste those so decided to dry them. FYI I recently dried some parsley and was AMAZED at the difference between that and store bought.

Hey, what can I say! You know how some vegans are. It's like "You're MURDERING those poor cows!", so I thought maybe "Being a Vampire" was just another slam on us poor carnivores. I'm sorry, but if God didn't intend for us to eat cows then he wouldn't have made them TASTE so good! ;)
