Gem's Mom

My friend bought a new horse. I wasn't able to go with her to look at it but she sounded pretty good so she went ahead and bought her. Hubby and I picked her up last night and brought her to the farm. She'll be staying here for the next month or so. Then friend (Dani) is moving to Greensfelder to run the barn there with 2 other friends (super cool, very excited for her!). So the new mare is at my house. Internet is being slow since it's about to storm so more pictures are coming...
She came with the name Hearts. Not a fan. We're thinking of new names, any ideas? So far I like Moolah (like horses take all your moolah lol) and calling her Moo for short. That's what I'm calling her till Dani comes up with something better hehe.

She's between 10 and 12. The lady who sold her had her for 2 years. She got her at a sale with a BCS of 1. I don't have the pics but I saw them, poor baby, she's lucky to be alive. Now she's in good weight and ready to ride. Dani got her for a trail horse. I took her out on a ride today and she'll be great at that job. Pretty forward and kind of a looky-loo but did awesome. She doesn't like mud, ditches or water lol, but that's not hard to work on. I'm used to big horses (Gem's almost 17h, she's 14ish?) so if she was bigger I'd like her better but she has a big walk so she'll keep up with anything I think.
Oh and she doesn't have a color picked out for her yet either. I'm thinking stick with black and white and then it'll work on her other mare who's white. Fli's stuff is mostly blue and some black.
