PayPal question.

Im so not techy. Someone help me here.
I pay for certain stuff out of my paypal account, attached to my bank account.
Today, I recieved a payment, went to paypal, accepted the payment, and now its over a dollar difference, and it has not gone to my checking account.
How the heck does this work???????

You have to click on the transfer tab and transfer it to your bank account. They don't automatically put it in there for you. Does this help?

It takes out a percentage as a fee for receiving money through paypal. Also you have to manually have it sent to your checking account, it doesn't happen automatically.

Oh ok, thanks, Ill go do that. But I thought beings they take it out of the account, that they have the info to send it back automatically...gesh, more work for me,,,,lol. I used to be computer techy, until about, lets see, when did Bob and I marry...LMBO

Re: Paypal...when you receive money, it goes into kind of a Paypal holding account until you tell it to do otherwise, as toodlestoo and missdixie said. What I didn't realize was, say I had $10 in that Paypal account and I made a purchase on Ebay for $20; the $10 is used first, then the remaining $10 is taken from your credit card or bank account. When I first started selling on Ebay I was all confused with my accounting until I called Paypal and they told me. :innocent:
