Buddy is a man now

We bred Buddy, our 3yo stallion for the first time Monday night. It took him about 20 minutes to "get it right"...but, he succeeded!!!! Who-hooo:D

Great Steve. That is great. Slow and easy and they get it right. How old was the mare? Most likely very experienced at being bred. You take such great care of your horses. Glad that he succeeded and hopefully you have a beautiful foal out of him.

congrats, last time i had to help with breeding a first time stallion was really funny. poor guy just could not get it ride and the nice quite experienced mare we picked for his first had to be drugged after a bit and we had to guide him to where he needed to be. i got to help in a horse date rape, lol :hysterical:(i dont condone rape but who ever gets to say that?)
