New saddles VS. Used saddles

Do you prefer new saddles or used saddles???

Used.

I tried a newer one once (had been used just a few times) and it KILLED my legs, and knees because it was new. It wasn't broke in and it hurt like the devil.

The one I have for Panda now is a used one. Almost 30 yrs. old. Still holding up pretty good.

Depends on the saddle. My last 4 were all new and I broke them in myself. I turn my leather in ASAP, wet them down, leave them for a couple days, then oil the heck out of them.
My corduras, nothing to worry about, they are easy.
