What to Engrave?

I am getting my western show engraved :). What do people normally write on the silver plate? Their horses registered name? their horses name? their name? I don't know! What do I get on it? lol I am also planning on getting a new english show saddle before show season - do I get the same thing on that?

When I had mine engraved (When I use to show) I had the show name (which was the registered name) and my full name under it. The horse's name was larger then mine and mine was smaller type. Matter of fact, I don't have the saddle anymore but I have the plate still. :)Good Memories of my first horsie!

I don't know about the western world, but in the english world you're saddle has your name on it!

At the big show barn I used to be at we were required to have a plate on every piece of tack. Halter, saddle, bridle, martingales, breast collars, girth... everything! Because things get mixed up really easily. This was great for us, because we ran an egraving business!!!

Well im in the english world.. but I have a stall plate on Bens door and it just says BEN and then my name under it.. not very exciting! I attached a picture .. it has my last name to but I blurred it out
