Update on misty and I

Hello
Misty and I are doing good. I havn't moved her yet but she is moving the second of july i cant wait. I've been working on teaching her to turn on her back and front legs and sidepasses on the ground so when i get in the saddle she will respond to my leg and i've been lunging her shes doing great with that she's listening to my words and ques. she is giving me both eyes when i make her stop i can drop the rope and tell her to stand and i can walk across the whole pasture she even winneyed and didnt move. she switches directions just with a switch of the rope and wip. also still leads great don't have a camera at the moment so i hope to get pics evenchally. she is doing great and i'm having fun hoping when i move her i'll start riding her. i've been doing a ton of ground work and its good for her. i'm hoping she can be a lesson horse somday at chc. superexcited for the move. i'm moving her to a barn called hidden falls ranch and its a christian atsmophere and has other kids there too. a lot around my age. they have there own trails and a round pen and an areana which i'm excited about too. having a blast!

yes there is a great trainer there to work with me she is a very pacient person and i love her to death she like another mom to me. she is finally in her new home at hidden falls ranch where i go to chc ever tuesday and she is doing great. we moved her the day we were bailing hay and stuff and she didn't care. i roundpened her when the day i moved her there she did good she is really lonly for now and she talks to every person who walks out the door and is like hey say hello to me i'm lonly haha we kept her in the round pen for a day and now shes in a padock for a few days to meet the other horses over the fence. robin also rounpened her too she did good with him. he feeds the horses also is kims husband. great barn and loving it glad i finally moved her to a good place me and her can learn together. all the work me and wendy and amanda and kim did with me and my horse really paid off thanks guys. robin was just messing around with her and with out the line he got her to do a turn on the haunches and did a few hip overs with the lead line. this is all on the ground i havn't been in the saddle for a while.

Today i went to church with kim the barn owner and after church we went to the parade. when we got home i round pened misty and she was easier to round pen today. then i worked on turning on the haunches and forquarters a pattern we are working on in chc we walk the horse on the correct side and when you get to the other side of the roundpen you do a hip over on the ground then you walk on the opposite side and walk her to the other side and then do a turn on the haunches she is getting it very well. then i put the rope over her back and made her stand while i braid her hair she did very well was just annoyed of the flys. she stand better not tied up the being tied up i'll work on that. haha. it was also very windy and she was being ansy tied up.
