I have great news Everyone!!!*(UPDATE)*

So I made a thread the other day titled "very close to getting Chief Home"
Well very close has turned into NEXT WEEK!!!! YAY!!!

I answerd an add on craigslist for a needed stable hand, and me and the stable owner have been on the phone ALL morning.

First Cool thing thier VERY close Right down the road from where chief Was at, witch is about 10 min from my house.

Second cool thing, she is willing to go get chief with me from Holden, Wich is great because he has a bigger trailer and Chief is very scared of the little one jen has.

Third cool thing, I'll be working off his board by feeding, watering, cleaning stalls, and bringing the horse in and out.

Fourth cool thing, I will be working more than what board costs so on top of all this she will still be paying me about $200 to $250 a month.

She text me just now and wanted to go get chief Tomorrow but I told her we need to wat till next week so I can clear the time with Jen she might not ready.

I start work tomorrow, I work every single day except everyother saterday 7:00am to 9:30am and get $8.50 an hour. I'm so Excited!!!!!!

Just had to tell you guys, its so Exciting!!!

Good for you! I have that same ad on Craigslist, potential employee #1 just cancelled the barn interview scheduled at 1 PM due to the long drive which HE & I warned her about. On to #2.

Wish I lived near you!:( That would be the perfect job! In fact I'd do it for free just so I could hang out with you guys and the horses and Sheepins!:p :D

When I was 10 or 11 and took lessons (long before Dakota and Beauty) I used to help out around the stable with feeding, watering, grooming, and turning out horses. It was supposed to be in exchange for riding time, but that part never really happened. I mostly just spent a lot of time grooming this really sweet 30 year-old-mare, carrying too heavy buckets and splashing water on my jeans and in my boots, and getting shocked by the electric fence when I attempted to turn the horses out.:huh:

Oh My Gosh everyone it's fantastic!
First thing, We are going to pick up Chief on Monday or Tuesday, we are gonna get him then straight to the Vets office for a coggins test of coursewe wont have the results right on hand, but she said it would be ok.

Ok as for the the rest!!! This place it SOO amazing, she has 15 stalled horses right now and 5 stalls in remodeling, thiersone pasture horse and buckskin paint pony lol SO cute.

So I come in at 7:00am I fill the water buckets in every stall then put the labled amount of grain in every stall, then I bring the horses in. And (weird) but while they eat I come in and clean thier stall none seem to mind thier all so sweet, After that I water them all again and clean the Indoor and outdoor arena for poop and the round pen.

I get to drive a big huge tractor too, when I'm cleaning the stalls I dump my bucket in the front scoop onthe tractor then when its full drive it to the spreader and dump it.

I cant wait to get pictuters of all the horses for you guys there all SO beautiful.

And my BO is so nice she pays me weekly it ends up being about 100 after takin out board.

ITs a beautiful place, She has many pastures, a big huge circular outdoor arena, lol i like that its a circle not an oval.

And thiers a trainer that works out of the barn his name is Kenny and he has about 6 horses thier now that he is working he works them everyday and he is really nice. well kind sorta he's an odd type says that no good can come fron loving on your horses faces he says never give them kisses and cuddle there faces, its bad. And he says that Girls shouldnt be in the barn lol he still has to get used to me.

Well I'll take a few pics tomorrow morning, and more when I get my dads camera.
