Am I the first to make a morning thread? AH!

Nothing new here. Raining right now with more rain for the rest of the day. Ugh. The front pasture is starting to get soggy. :( I was out this morning and gave the horses an apple. Norman seems to be afraid of a few certain cows for some reason... wonder what that's all about. I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary.

I was hoping to get a ride in today, but with the rain I think it will have to be postponed. :cowboy: (I love this smilely!)

Breakfast this morning was a big cup of hot chocolate and a bowl of Cocoa Pebbles!

I am so tired! Been up since 4. Just couldn't sleep. Gotta get ready for work in a few.

Solon has the day off after last night's lesson so I'll go out to the barn and let him play in the arena tonight. Got another long day at work ahead. Report writing. Barf.

Just woke up and here I am sitting at Baywind farm forum. lol I woke up this morning thinking it was Thursday (my day to ride and my parents are flying in from Florida to come watch me) but I soon realized that it wasnt. :oops: I see that there were quiet a few changed over the night so I'm off to check them out then off to work in a few hours (working late tonight).

Good morning!

I get to work from home today so I got an extra hour of sleep and I'm heading out to feed the horses now. It's not raining right this moment but it rained HARD last night and there were pretty big wind gusts that kept the chimes moving and me awake until pretty late last night. It's supposed to rain for the next three days here but the good news is that they say it will clear up for the weekend and gee - hit a whole 60 degrees on Sat & Sun! Hubby will be gone hunting so I'll have to figure out how I'll spend my weekend... maybe one day laying on the couch doing nothing but watching chick flicks?! I NEVER do that... so many possibilities.:crazy:

OK, mornings are NOT for me right now. I was in partial tears, ouching, ect. when I went out to feed.
I lock up over night and am so tired of hurting. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks(not like Ive not done anything to not let my back heal 100%, ya right)and now my hinney muscle, the spastic nerve is killing me, never delt with that before.......OOUUUCH. Hubby says see a chiro. Im not sure there is anything he can do for me.

So, here is for today, another day of living, gotta love it!!

Good Morning Everyone.

We are waiting for some rain here in Georgia. It should be coming this way on Wednesday. We REALLY need rain. I know our paddock will turn into a big mess...and white horses will no longer be white..but, we need some rain. If our pond doesn't get some rain...we will be able to just walk in and pick up the fish. lol

We have noticed that a Great Blue Heron has a nest in one of the really tall trees at Buck's Hollow. It is really beautiful to watch her up there. We think we see a little one, but can't be sure. The horses have gotten use to her now and also the 6 wild turkeys.

We hope to get to ride again today. House Cleaning again today.

Ouch Vick, Chiros really can help...if you get the right one. It would not be a quick fix..but it doesn't take them long to get you feeling better. Hope you get better real soon. SM and I know how it feels to have all that back pain and it is not fun!!!!

Morning Everyone. I am half awake right now.. getting ready for my history class. Boy am I tired. I havent been getting enough sleep this past week and its all turning into a snowball effect! Its midterm week but thankfully I only have one test tommorow, then im going home!! So I can spend a long weekend with ben. Hopefully ill get to take some pictures. Oh I forgot! Yall have morning coffee together. :) How will I ever keep up here-LOL. Keep posting gang. The coyotes are singing this morning, or is it wolves. I always have to stop and listen now; and try and decern one feller from the other. Wolves bark like dogs. We learned that when hubby Gene ran into a den with pups in upper Fish Creek. Then I hear one dog bark in my wild wilderness place; on the Lolo divide. I know thats a wolf. My dogs are leading on a ride- one in front, one behind. Lead dog comes scooting back to me with his hair up from head to tail on his back. I know we have a pack of wolves near by. They see me but they are not seen by my eyes. But I know how to read my dogs; so I can see what I can't see. Its getting cold and snow's comming this week. About 4- 6 weeks early this year. Happy trails fourm friends.

I'll tell you what....I got back into the swing of things this weekend, trying to catch up on all the farrier work that has slipped in the 2 weeks I was down. I only did 5 horses on Sunday...and today, I feel like I played a football game....I am sore, tired, and aching all over.......geez, it sucks getting old....

I hear ya, I love my chiro, he has worked wonders on my upper back. He is not one that goes looking for everything he can, he fixes what the problem is.
Thing is, I had an injury in my lower back before, and am affraid of having that area messed with, it just dosnt give like it did before the injury. Ill call him, see what he says. He knows I wont call him unless I really need him.

Morning everyone. I'm up and hanging on out the internet for a few minutes. We went out to eat lunch this weekend and it looks like the waitress ran our card twice. . .so I'm watching the bank too because I have checks out that won't go through now since the bank can't do anything until it's not pending anymore. Grrr. It's like watching a big ol' iceberg coming and not being able to steer the wheel!

Horses are good. Enjoying the cooler weather! I should ride this weekend but I just won't have time. Sigh. I want to go back in time and be in college again!! Had tons of time to ride back then!!! How do you other Mom's find time to ride?

Oh and I 5th (or something) the chiro!!! They are amazing!

I'm at school. My astronomy class was cancelled (or rescheduled, we did meet yesterday morning at 5:20) so I only had 3 classes... BUT that means that out of three classes I have three tests! I did a lot better in math than I thought I was going to do (yay!) and I think I did alright (I know I passed) on my marketing midterm. I didn't expect my marketing exam to be like it was but... oh well. :)

It feels like Thursday. I really want it to be Thursday, I'm ready to get OUT of my grandparents' house. I just cannot deal with people being that stressed 24/7, it's ridiculious. My tolerance for stress is next to nil... :doh:. I'm one of those people who'll get there when she gets there (tomorrow will probably still be there tomorrow, and if it's not then there isn't anything I can do about it anyway) but my dad's mother is always in a huge rush. She's from the city. :p

:rant: Now I'm starting to study for my next test. He has a 10 Identify-what-on-earth-I'm-vaguely-referring-to-and-tell-me-more-about-it questions, then he has two essay questions that he requires multiple pages of essay for! I made a B on the last test, which is ridiculious because I know I earned an A (I was one of the few that passed, so I guess I should let it go). He just got out of grad school and he's teaching the 100 level course like a grad level course. I'm NOT majoring in history for a reason. *end rant* :D

Vick...You do have to be careful with the injuries. Just as long as they know and you trust them. Steve has had back surgery and they have to be very careful with him. But they can do some good therapy and deep muscle massages!!!

Wow these morning threads are busy nowadays! So I've been up a while no one else in my house is awake yet but the will be soon. :D

Yesterday my friends and I all played a game called "A...Um...and like..." and it's where you chose a card and it will have a thing on it and you have to talk about it for 30 sec. without saying the words a.. um.. and like. and It was totally hard for me to not say like and um.. And I had to talk about diapers and I was cracking up and I couldn't stop laughing! But then I ruined it by saying they're like.. So yeah.. It's a very good game for us teens who tend to say A..Um.. and Like. Lmbo!

:clap:i'm all for the chiro's....suffered thru 3 months of sciatic pain last year then this year poor husband had a back injury and i got him in to chiropractor...it was a miracle and i was convinced to give it a try for myself...found i had some pretty serious deformaties that would only get worse so i've been going every week now for a couple months....gotta say i've felt better then i have felt in years! not only physically but mentally....less tired, crabby and anxious...i'm all for stayin' away from the medical doctors and seekin' out alternative treatments....i love my chiropractor, sherry baumgart in adams wisconsin

Work today as usual and I am soooo over the days getting shorter. It means that after work I have about 45 minutes to play with horse. Today he's getting lunged over trot poles and small jumps. I don't know what I'm gonna do when it's completely dark and I have to get horse time in BEFORE work :eek: I'm gonna be a stinky eye nurse :doh:

Our household has two new roomies and I like them both! There is a fun vibe around the house, it's funny how everytime we get a new roomie the vibe changes just a little. There is already talk of buying an outside firepit and having a pumpkin carving party soon!

:doh:another truck problem day....last week the drivers door broke $332 to fix THAT....3 days latter truck doesn't start...towed in yesterday and $378 for new starter....this afternoon went out to do chores...truck starts...hook up drags to clean poop...go to start truck...no start....un hook drags and pull our with tractor....lock horses away from truck (they eat trucks) and it's another tow and out of truck day...no chiro for ma ma today and the poop piles up:deadhorse: almost 6 years and never a problem with my truck then warrenty up and only 2 more payments to go and it starts breakin' down! i swear with all this technology stuff 'they' can program them to suck ya into a new vehicle:mad:

I am a professional back pain sufferer. I found something that works GREAT for me. An inversion table:). Yup, when my back gets to hurtin' I just hang upside down for a few minutes a day and I'm in good shape. Works better for me than a chiro. but Diane says it doesn't help her.

My hubby has one of those too - he was in a bad car wreck 20 years ago and says that got him through. Now he only goes out and hangs if it's reallly bothering him... I've tried it a few times - it makes me feel taller!;)

Hello all. Boy, and I thought I was running late on Sunday!

Well, I got up and took The Boy to school this morning.. came home, went back to sleep until 11am. Got up and ate something, took some zinc, and printed some stuff out off my school website.

THEN I laid back down until 2pm and here am I. My throat hurts, my head hurts, and I have a bizarre stomach pain to go with it (only when I stretch or press around my navel.. it's just weird)

Anyways, these are my grumps for the day. I'll go back to my hole now!
