So yesterday I went to my first show of the season. It is the same fun show I took Trouble to last summer. Unfortunately, however, a lot of the crazy gamers (who give real gamers a bad rap) found out about it. It was the greatest show I've been in, but it wasn't the worst. I had a horse canter directly behind Trouble and actually clipped her and by the grace of God Trouble just stood there and pinned her ears back. Really shows how far she has come since before she would have probably given a nice kick. Apparently the red ribbon means nothing to people . The heat was ridiculous and I wanted it to be just over half of the day. We didn't come up with as many places as last year, but out of 7 classes I placed in two. Second out of thirteen in the costume class, and third out of sixteen in the water in a cup.
Trouble did give a nice three bucks coming home from barrels. She gets really excited, and if it wasn't for the fact that me tightening her cinch did nothing to keep the saddle up against her sweaty back I would have stopped and made her walk the rest of the way to the finish. My friend has it on video, its was pretty lucky. She bucks, the saddle slips sideways, I was half out of the saddle, and grabbed her neck and pulled myself back in and the saddle closer to being straight by the time we get to the finish line. I then jumped off passing the finish and fixed her saddle before walking her out. Again I say luck! I got an applause for that one :p.
So for further ado, here are the pictures.

These pictures really came out bad. You can't see the painting (which took me 25 minutes to perfect, the crap load of glitter, or her skull halter...I put a lot of elbow grease in this costume)
