Good morning, Jump the Moon! I've just got tons of little things to do around the house after a long work week. The weather's finally turned rainy, but I want to at least groom Arrow today--I didn't see him yesterday, had to spend time blowing leaves while they were dry. I'm moving him to a new barn a week from today, so I'm pretty excited about that.

it's 3:45am CA time. I have been asleep since 7pm yesterday, now I can't sleep. Still very achy:sick: but I am a bit more mobile then yesterday. Trying to see if 15-20mins on the computer will get me tired enough to sleep as I can't take any more cold medicine until 5am. :(
Plan on spending the dayinbed again, going to miss my friends daughters b-day party and going to the movies afterwards.. oh well...

Today I've got a trail ride planned to Laurel Hill Wildlife Mgt Area, near Lawrenceburg, TN. The Fall colors are are just about peak here so it ought to be really pretty. HaveFaith and I are meeting there with a couple of local Cowboys for Christ groups, so it should be a fairly good-sized ride.

For those of you who don't already know, they're a nation-wide, family-oriented group who's mission is to share the Word of God through fun and fellowship on horseback. We're not members, but we ride with them from time to time. They're the nicest bunch of folks to ride with you've ever met. You can Google them on the Web to find a chapter near you.

Morning all, Going to be a nice day today with the highs in the 70's. Taking Jessie to ride the horses she is working on for the up coming show then come home and hopefully get a ride in, before I go pick up the new puppy for my oldest daughter and husband today. Asked them what they wanted for their first year anniversary and their answer was a chihuahua , I found them a cute dear head one..Pick her up at 4

Well it is morning, but I dont know how good it is yet. It's 7:45 am in NY and I 'm at work. I'll be here till 1 pm and then going home and going back to bed. I've had a killer of a cold all week and it decided to return with a vengace this am after feeling pretty good yesterday. Then maybe go down to the barn and see if I can scrape a few layers of mud off of the beast. Have a good day!

mornin' ya all! a very happy ma ma here!!! son randy and his girl friend tara came over last night and we had home made fresh chicken and noodle soup (ma ma's) and a terrific home made chocolate cake with incredible whip cream and cream cheese frosting (tara's)...watched a funny movie...they all laughed and i only laughed at them laughing! i have no sense of humor with comedy's yet i can almost die laughing at other stuff...like the time i asked my husband if he wanted to help me make a carrot cake...he says ok what do i do...(he doesn't cook)...i tell him peel about 4 carrots and when he tells me he's done i come into he kitchen and here are 4 carrots peeled down to about the size of a knittin' needle! i couldn't stop laughing and he finally said i'm never helping you again!!! it still makes me laugh!!!....anyway the happy night is still continueing on this mornin' cause they slept over!!! i love havin' them here!!! have a great day everyone!!

Me, well, those ugly looking little white things are coming out from under the house. Got a couple guys coming today to figure out how were going to do this. I say, take the skirting off the front and hose them puppys to the other side, its lower, then rake them out. But, they will put their heads together and figure it out. Im sure we wont be able to get them all out, but the majority is the goal.

I've got a fun day planned out for me today. I'm sleeping over at the barn with my friend (B.O's daughter) and we get the house to ourselves!! Woohoo! Tanner will also be jumping today so I will have to get pictures of that! =D I have to start pack now - gotta dress warm :( & go out and help teach a lesson.

Not much doing today- I might transfer my pics onto a larger flash drive than the one I had them on, and get some documents off my computer. This one's so tiny by today's standards, I have to keep as much space free as possible in order to keep up, lol! Neat little tools, these flash drives! I've just got to convince myself I don't need tons of stuff on my computer!

Currently watching the rugby, Wales vs South Africa - come on Wales! :cowboy: Just about to kick off :D.

Went to see Sammy and Aike earlier and came off Sam :(. He had a huge spaz when I asked for a trot which involved bucking, rearing and bolting :doh:. Gotta love horses with 'personality'. And to top it all off, Aike stamped on my foot when I tried to pick his hooves out, sod.

Our nice weather is over. Cold and rainy here today. I hope it clears up as I'm supposed to take Ogre to a birthday party for pony rides.

I miss my husband and oldest daughter. They're on a pheasant hunting trip in Iowa and have been gone since Wed. They'll be back tomorrow, though! :)

I know the founder of Cowboys for Christ. He used to be friends with my Dad. I actually rode in my first parade with him and his longhorn T-Bone. He lives right around the corner from where my Grandmother lived. I didn't realize it had gone nationwide. It's been a while since I've talked to Ted, my family had a bit of a falling out with him when he divorced his wife. (it wasn't pretty). Hope you have a great ride!

Funny story (quick one) When Ted came to pick me and Gidget up for the parade his longhorn was already loaded in the stock trailer near the front. Gidget hopped onto the trailer and then snorted and had a bit of second thoughts about her traveling companion. All T-Bone Did was lick his nose at her. Lol. She didn't have a spaz attack but I could tell she was NOT impressed with her companion. I was worried his horns were going to gorge her while they were in there (it was a tiny stock trailer) but we made it just fine. I got to ride T-Bone once and it was VERY weird!

Anyways, I'm going riding today at Grapevine Lake. I haven't been there in about 1 1/2 years because it flooded. Hopefully the trail is back to some sort of glory. It used to be so pretty. I'll take my little cheapie camera and take some pics! Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning, everyone! We have my Grandmother's 80TH BDAY PARTY today!! Woo hoo! Put on by the lovely AND talented Diane_of_Buck's_Hollow.. it's going to be great and my Gmother will be so surprised! :clap:

After a little while of that, I have GOT to get my son to his fall festival at school. Today is the reschedule date from the original rained-out date in October, and we've already got paid game tickets waiting on us!

After all that, I'm going to take a few more things to my best friend- her house burned down this week; it's just horrible. :( It's hard enough to see the pics in her camera- I have yet to go to the house but she wants me to see it sometime this weekend/week.. it's amazing what fire can do, in so little time.

Don't leave your kids' ride-on toys plugged in while you're not home! :nono:

Got a busy day ahead of me again! This morning we woke up from my birthday party and boy were we tired! lol we stayed up wayy to late hehe. Oh well, it was a super fun night. Today my cousin is staying with us, so we're going riding then we're going to a tack shop and then we're going to babysit for my mom's friend.

Crapy windy morning here. The rain and wind kept me up most of the night...ugh...going back to bed as soon as I do stalls and have some breaka......hummmm looks like turkey,rice and veggies.....yum!!!
The horses are soaked....and so are the dogs....I added another album to show all my work on the park we are establishing. The northwest corner is really bad!!! We just had a machine in to clear debrie and of course it started raining....so now we have soft spots and can't get a gravel truck into fill......sigh.....:(

Good afternoon...NOT. I'm stcuk at work on a Sarurday, nothing worse. I was nice and said I'd cover the weekend girl's shift. I wish I wasn't so nice sometimes, but I figure everything comes in full circle :)

Was able to get the beast out this morning and lunge over some trot poles and some jumps. He's so funny. One time around he will completely forget how to jump and do this funny leap where all four of his legs go different ways and then the next time around he jumps it perfectly cute. Tomarrow I'll get a good ride in :)

Once I get outta here I'm off to start the massiv chore of getting my room clean, I may even recruit BF if he's lucky,lol.

I'm glad I have the forum today, I REALLY need it to get through today!
