I got to meet APPYT! Had a great ride! :)

Went riding to the lake yesterday. It really made my day. This was a first time I got to ride with someone. My friend picked me up with her trailer and brought a friend with her.
So we got talking only to find out the friend is APPYT. I had a wonderful time. APPYT is soooo nice and a lot of fun! I really enjoyed their company. :)

Crystal was having a little trouble loading - it wasn't straight load like my little trailer, so it was new to her. After few minutes she made it in though.
Other than that she really made me proud. I was little worried, since she is not used to other people or horses. She behaved very well. :)
After some persuasion she even walked in to the lake. Once she figured out there are no sharks she enjoyed splashing the water.

Sorry I am so late to your thread, Petra. What can I say, been really busy helping my son get into his new digs and all that goes along with that. While clearing some stuff out of the house I ran across about a dozen canning jars.. Quart/small mouth w/rims. Ya want em? LOL You got em.

We had some of your scrummy squash for supper tonite. OMG it was delic... Thank you..

I had a wonderful time riding with you and Carol at the lake. Cannot wait to do it again soon as possible. This rain is gonna have to stop first tho. I'm hoping to get to riding Heidi asap. Light is getting tired of me. ;)

WooHoo.. Sounds good to me. My garden is slackin this year.. Again.. We either get way too much rain and it floods out or nothing and it dries up like a dirt road. Hub is lovin the squash, me too.

APPYT it's supposed to be partly cloudy and 91F. Should be great for riding - will not get sunburned like I did last time, lol.

I can't wait for you and Carol to take some vegetables home with you! Now I have them sitting in bowls on my kitchen counter too...refridgerator is full.
I have never had my garden to do this well before. Everything grows like crazy. :D

YUM! I'm not positive I will get to come. My DIL and the kids come midweek so she can ride her new horse. Kids ride too.. I forgot that they are usually here tu/wed... We'll see what the week brings. XX fingers.

I so wish we had access to a lake. I used to be able to swim my first horse at a lake, and it was so much fun :) Never can get them as clean is that either, with just a hose.

Swim? That would be nice. I doubt I can get Crystal deeper than up to her knees. I think she liked the water, but wasn't impressed with sinking deep in to the mud.
WB you must have some nice lakes up there. If my horse took a bath in this water she'd be dirtier than she has ever been.

Shorts were improvement. My husband was glad I finally wore shorts instead of my PJ's. :p
