It was really fun! Very long, but fun.
The judge had NO idea what she was doing (according to my trainer and her husband). The show was at a barn and she kept giving 1st & 2nd to the girls that board there...I'm sorry but some of the other riders were doing alot better.
I got kicked by one of the horses there while we were doing our english pleasure class. I made sure I was well to the side of him and the horse stopped, turned and kicked at Blue but got my foot. It didn't really hurt, I felt so bad because the girl riding came up to me and apologised, I said it was okay!!! lol.
I had my first jumping class today. I got fourth out of 8 entries!!!! :) We did better in the jumping than the flat because the judge told me Blue shouldn't have his nose behind his poll or something, she pretty much said I wasn't suposed to get him collected. :huh: I got 5th in Pleasure and W/T and 6th in EQ because apparently I can't post well without stirrups. :p
One of my friends rode in the beginner classes, she uses spurs and a crop and the judge made her cry, she said using both was 'overkill'. WHAT?! :mad: My friend is very kind with her crop/spurs, if it was in another riders hand I can see it being bad, but overkill?
