Shipping Fees?

*sigh* This hurts but it has to be done.

Angel is (most likely) going to Central Iowa. We found someone who would trailer her out for $275 from Gresham, WI to Des Moines, IO (ie. 75 cents a mile). Is that good? We won't get that one because she'll be in Wisconsin tomorrow and I havent heard from my potential buyer and dont have any money yet. What are shipping costs around your area?

I have no idea what I paid per mile when I had Allegro shipped from Kentucky here to KS, but I got an awesome deal! I paid like $450/$500 ish. I can't remember which. I just know that it was really cheap and they haulers were AWESOME!

Why do you have to have the money for shipping, its not your responsibility, its the new owners.

My friends haul horses short distances and it's $2.00 a mile. I don't know what a real hauler charges.

That is a fair rate. There are tons of shippers, just make sure you find one that has a good reputation.
