Read this, yet another article about a politician avoiding the taxes they constantly push to impose. I'm curious about what stands out to you about it.

So much for paying his "fair share", eh?

That's related to what came mind when I read it, WBoy. The rich do have the means to move away from punitive taxation. But what I thought it proved again was what an enormous lie the Democrats tell when they claim repeatedly that the rich don't pay their fair share. Not only do they pay most of the income taxes collected in this country, but they have taxes like this to pay. Over $400,000 when the purchase is made, and over $70,000 a year in taxes for owning a yacht.

How did government grow so powerful that this is legal? How incurious and gullible has the electorate become that they fall in line with the class warfare mantra of "fair share"?

Well, I guess it is slap me with a dead fish time. When I lived on the NY/PA border, I would try to buy clothing and shoes in PA as they are not taxed there. I didn't feel bad as I worked in Pa and had to pay income tax there and I also had to pay it in NY. Just lucky, I guess.
