My friend and I think my gelding will be kinda rough on it. so 1200Denier is a must! Thanks in advance!

I am leaning towards the other one, but I am just not sure. Hmm...Are the saxons pretty durable too?

Well considering City is a nut in his blanket, Id say so. I did have to sew it, but thats cause the horses were screwing around. It really depends on your horse. I do not buy anything less than 1200D for City.
It is my back up blanket now, only cause I bought another one. IF I were to buy again, and Saxon had a comparable price, ya, Id buy it again.

I'm here!:D
Like vicklynn said, both my horses have 1200D Saxon turnout blankets (mine are the medium weight ones). They wore them all last winter (and they are in pasture 24/7) and they held up great! No rips, tears, etc at all. Very durrable, and completely water proof! I never had mine soak through.:)
They're wearing their Saxon blankies right now, hehe.:p :D
I've been very happy with them and if I ever have to buy another blanket, I'll get another Saxon.:D

Check this site out, it might have your blankets on it to help you decide.

Hey WP....I might get a blanket at SSTack.com. Their prices don't seem to bad. Anyway I started looking for a coupon and I found one for $10 off if you spend $50. The code is K. I don't know if that helps with your blanket search or not but just thought I would pass it on.

I've got the DuraTech, I love it! Looks great on my Dixie and has held up so far although it's only a few weeks old. My BO however has had them for years and years and they are still going strong. Great price too!

I like the Dura-Tech - I have one by them and it's done really really well.
I may be the odd one out but I haven't had good result with the Saxon on my at the time filly, it didn't fit her as well and she managed to rip it.
