My youngest daughter's best friend, Isabella, and her family sure could use some prayers right now. Isabella's mom was about 5 months pregnant at the end of Sept when her water broke, premature rupture of the membranes or P.R.O.M. Isabella's mom with the help of the hospital she was in in New York managed to stay pregnant for another month. Thankfully, long enough for them to give her medication to help the baby develop his lungs. Michael was born, just over 3 months premature this past weekend. He is breathing mostly on his own, and seems to be doing well considering the circumstances. However, as I'm sure many of you know, he is not out of the woods yet. They are anticipating him staying in the NICU through at least the end of January. When all this happened they were on vacation, so they aren't even near their home. Things were just to touch and go before Michael was born to risk transport back here to PA, and now that he's here it would be too much for him.
Please say a prayer that things continue to go well for Michael, and that the family manages well. Michaels father can not be with his family during the week as he works here in PA, and he can only travel up on the weekends. Please say a prayer.
