yesterday after Maddison and Jessie worked with the pony they are training they decide to work with Cash our yearling, they figured that since they had their light weight saddle out they would see if Cash would let them saddle him just for fun...
I swear Cash has the most laid back attitude he doesn't care what you do to him 70% of the time he is sleeping through it.
Anyone else have or ever have such a laid back horse.http://www.baywindfarm.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=338&pictureid=4343

Awe, what a sweet picture! <3
Keidas is pretty laid back with me, but not others. He really has to trust you and so far he only really trusts me, lol. Cloe I can do anything with, but again, she pins her ears at everyone else if you come within a foot of her, heh.

Thats neat! It's always nice when a young horse accepts things so well. It was many years ago now, but if memory serves me right, Gypsy was pretty much the same way about everything.

I have one of those air horns we use it to get the horses use to loud sudden noises....First time we tried it on him....he looked back at me with a hey mom you woke me up..didn't flinch, get upset, just wondered why I woke him up.

hahaha... my Fiddler is just like that! He's 2 and I keep expecting him to freak out at new things, and he just keeps going on like he's some 20 year old dead broke horse!
Unfortunatly this attitude creates a problem when you break them! They'll stand there all day while you get on and off them, they'll bend and flex their head... but when it comes to walking... they don't! They just stand there, like 'what...?' But once you can get them past that, they're a dream!

What a cute picture! Prodigy is like that in a way. I can throw saddle pads over him, behind him, in front of him, and he'll just stand there with his leg cocked like he's saying "Why you doin dat"?

My mare Heaven who shares the same bloodline was never quite like Cash she would tolerated things and stand for it because she knew she had to...With Cash it's complete I don't care thing.

What a gooooorgeous colour :D he is so sweet.
I dunno so much abotu laid back as pure lazy. Topper is so definitely a cow in disguise...he's piebald, 15.1hh and has no withers, and also no sense of fear. He just keeps plodding..."what, a tractor? I'm sure it'll get out of my way..."
