Finally Friday!

My last friday that I won't have school for a long time... :p
We're under heat warning here, Ugh! I prefer the cold warning... please? I think i should move to canada.... :p How's everyones weather?

I tried to watch the meteior shower, but the city lights were too bright :( Couldn't see anything!

I played tennis early today, wanted to get out before heat got too bad. No tryouts today, but they continue monday. I basically got a free tennis lesson, becuase my "friendS" I met earlier in the week were there and the husband offered to feed me balls. It's a bit weird, but nice. :) I'm greatfull considering the face 98% of the time, I play against a wall.... :p and well, I've learned how to outsmart the wall. :rolleyes:

I'm so glad it is Friday. I didn't watch the meteor shower, but kinda with I had watched it, I hear it was pretty neat. Happy Friday the 13th everyone :D

Morning. My goats and mini horse were playing this morning like wild crazy people.

This is going to sound weird, but I like friday the 13ths! :p lol Probably because I was born the day before a friday the 13th! :p I was 3 months premature and only weighed a 1 Ib. and 12 ounces :p
Plus in school whenever I was assigned a numer I was number 13 most of the time, and if I wasn't 13, I was 12 or 23. :p :huh:weird!

I wish that all my neighbors didn't leave their lights on! :( and that the city lights weren't so bright. I was able to see it last year, but not this year.

Aww :( I HATE the dentist... I have to go back soon. I have terrible teeth. I can brush my teeth 6 times a day and still end up with a cavity!

Lol, my son loves Friday the 13th. 13 is his favorite number. :D I am not superstitious, so to me it's a day like any other.
I guess I'm lucky KS is so flat and there are just fields around here. The sky is so big here and in my pasture it was really dark and clear. The meteor shower was the best I've ever seen. I wanted to take a video, but my camera is not good for that. :(

And I have seen something really odd. No idea what it was. First I thought they were two planes flying the same direction. It looked like planes that fly really high, both dots were moving about the speed planes fly. Watching from here they were about an inch apart. I know still reasonable distance, but it seemed closer than I've seen before. And than suddenly it looked like one of them blew up. It got extremely bright and about 6 times bigger. Than the bright light went out it got back to the size it was, than even smaller and it disappeared. Didn't continue traveling on the sky, just disappeared. And after that the one behind got smaller and disappeared too. We had completely clear sky, so it didn't get behind clouds. I have no clue what it was. Never seen anything like that. Any ideas what could it be? It didn't fall down rather the opposite direction. Could it be maybe a satellite that exploded?

Well, I've got logging going on, fundraiser (thanks everyone so far), unhappy cats, cooped up goats, cops again at the neighbor's, a heat wave coming, sore feet... A few other personals that I don't have the energy to explain.... no, not much going on here! :cheers:

Its my favorite day-- Friday the 13th!:cool:

Its medication day today-- so flea drops for the kitties and the flea/HW combo for the pups, I got some on my fingers-- :huh: my lab got a little 'jumpy' and thought we were wrestling.... :)


I missed the meteor shower last night, but I got to ride, so all in all it was a successful day!

Its going to be 104-ish here today, so I am glad to be indoors!

I Love Friday 13th!! 1.) cuz I was born on a friday and 2. cuz my sister was born on a 13th..in fact TODAY!! I gotta call her...

Happy FRIED-DAY!! I'm editing some video with new s/w and hiding from the heat. Laundry is drying quickly and the dog is snoring...LOUDLY!! I watered my driveway plants and hubby is on his way home for the week-end. Gotta go feed the horses and I will go out later (when it has cooled) for a ride with a friend!
