Well.....I went to a VFD meeting

Mostly I wanted to bring them 4 dozen homemade cookies as a thank you for coming to help put out my BIL's house fire and so all three of us went my brother in law, husband, and my self. And we all decided to get an application and join up with their organization. We live 4 miles from the station and I'm home all the time except for school stuff. They vote on the applications of weather or not we are allowed to join on Monday so we shall see....

It'll look good on job applications also.

Impressive!!! I am always amazed at the volunteer firefighters in my area. They are so fast and so good and I'm extremely thankful for them!

My brother does it and LOVES it. Alot of the guys around here end up actually going to school for it and being an EMT/firefighter.
