Here's a video from last night, Hubby was wonderful and stood out there panning for me the whole ride. I spliced together some bit, obviously the video was the whole ride (45+ mins). The tripod was squeaking, so turn down your volume, it's annoying, sounds like creaky stairs. I just got this video program and have yet to figure out the music bit, but I will, I promise!

We've been working hard with our trainer on bending, coming round on the bit, and getting him to drive from behind - he was being great last night - see! ;)

quite a few views, but no comments - is this a case of if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all? Yikes ;)

I just saw this now, don't know how I missed it?
He looks really good & appears to enjoy being ridden. He sure has big strides & he follows your lead very well, very responsive. I love the baby boy blue too.

I think people may be a little gun shy after...you know. Please don't take it personally.

What a big stride! Phew! Now if only he would adjust longitudinally as well as laterally, you'd be set!

I wasn't afraid to post, what happened before?

Yea, Natisha what do you mean? I'm confused.

MN - longitudinally? What do you mean?

Funny people have said he has a big stride, I've never thought that before! He's such a good horse. We've been working VERY hard. And he didn't used to be this responsive - in fact, when I first got him, he had no idea leg pressure meant move off - forward or sideways! He really just didn't get it. He'd be standing there, you'd squeeze and he'd look at you like, huh?

I just saw this, don't know where it was hiding. He's cute, love the color on him. I can't say anything much about your riding since I don't know a thing about English but with me if you stay on you're doing good! I'm not the best of riders and need my saddle horn!

I meant the thread where someone said something about something in a video that someone else took offense to. If you missed it, be glad.
It wasn't directed to you or your video at all.
No worries.:)
You've done great with your horse & I look forward to seeing him more.

You two look great! When I have a ride like the one you and Trav did, I'm super happy. Awesome job! Smooth, energetic, collected!

Thank you! I agree, it just makes me feel like I'm walking on a cloud after - I was excited to get it on video!

I must have missed it ;) Sounds like that may be good! I don't mind if people point things out, but I do have a trainer whom I lesson with 1-2 times a week, so I have her yelling at me all the time, I doubt anyone would say something she already hasn't! It's nice to get video, because she always tells me my outside hand comes up and I think I'm doing better, then I watch the vid - yep, there's that outside hand! :innocent:
