I know I have been driving you guys nuts...but what about this saddle...I think it would fit my needs just fine, as long as it will hold up for a while...let me know what you think...

I think it would do a decent job although, I think if you were ok with synthetic I would go for a wintec. I thought you wanted brown?

Maybe you could see if there is anything on here: http://www.trumbullmtn.com/Saddle_%20pages/used_AP/Used%20AP.htm
They have a nice 17.5 inch wintec AP for $325

I agree with half pass. If you can swing it definitely get a wintec. It will hold up better.

Ok, I lied...I know Weaver Leather is a good brand...but what about an English saddle from them...It's leather...I have had their products before and have been very pleased with what they have to offer. So I wonder if their saddles are good or not? I am sorry if I am bugging you guys... I am just trying to find something in my fiance's price range...brown would be better I have stuff to match, but I can do black! Sorry again if I am bugging you guys...I just know there is something out there for me...it's just the matter of finding it!

They are pretty common on craigslist. Just look at some craigslists around your area

Yes, wintecs are nice. They are synthetic but they are comfortable and last forever. You should post which one you like

I would not go with that saddle, it really won't hold up for you very long. Try checking out these sites for a Wintec:

eBay (http://sporting-goods.shop.ebay.com/items/Saddles__wintec_W0QQ_catrefZ1QQ_flnZ1QQ_sacatZ4728 1QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em282?_trksid=p3286.c0.m282 )
UsedSaddles (http://www.usedsaddles.com/search.htm?cat=vmtg3ss9)

And the one HPH posted. =)

Definitely pass on anything from Tack-Wholesale that's not a name brand. I would definitely recommend a Wintec or a Thorowgood synthetic. Both are quality and will stand up well to use. My daughter has a Wintec Pro-Jump and it's a great little saddle. You'll definitely find better deals on Black tack as well, as it's not popular for the show ring.

Weaver leather english saddles are IMPORTED and not made in the USA. They are not good.

How about Crumps? Are they any good? I have found basically a new Collegiate and Crosby for 450 obo each. I am trying to convience my fiance that those are both GREAT deals and have showed him how much they are new. Would it be horrible to offer 350 for either of them? they are both brown, so I have tack to match, and they come with the irons and leathers. I believe the Collegiate has a saddle pad too so if I ever show English I will have one! Urgh! If I can only convience him. I would be willing to wait for Chirstmas!
