Sorry for another post... On one of my other posts I posted 4 possible horses. One of them was a 5 yr old Registered Dun Tobiano Paint mare, she is 14.1-14.2hh. Her name is Bp Dun Up Hot. Here are her bloodlines: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/bp+dun+up+hot
She has had 60 days professional training, she loads, stands for farrier, bathes, hauls, ect... Last year the lady had her listed for $2500 since she hasn't done much with her she told me she would sell her for $800. I was like hmmm.... I had a couple others for $500 and free so I didn't know what would be best. The lady tells me that she has another guy who is interested in her and one other of her horses that wants to but them and re-sale them after putting 60 more days on them. She told me she would consider offers. I wasn't expecting her to go much below $800 but I said $500 and she said she would accept $500!! Total shocker! So now i'm like well... lol. So I'm pretty sure she would be fairly easy to re-sale when that time comes. She is loaded with color and is registered, she would probably throw awesome color. She is only pony sized though. I am wanting to train her for hunters and dressage and also do some trails and stuff. So I think she could see fairly well as a Hunter pony. What do you guys think?

I think she dropped the price really quickly, really easily considering she says she has someone else interested. :(

I'm not terribly fond of how she's put together, but that could be an awkward picture. She is very cute color-wise. I'd definitely have a vet check her over really well before you bought her. ;)

ALOK: She only is giving me that price because she would rather her go to me than the other guy. The picture is really akward, she isn't that downhill and her neck isn't that horrible either.
Here are some other pictures, there not the best either but they show a little different views though.

These aren't real recent pictures either. I'm going to try to go see her in person.

she's so cute! I love the blue eye. If you are going to get that much of a discount and you like her, go for it!

A vet check is mandatory for any horse that I consider just so everyone knows.
Thanks shynbvs!

I like her and for that price I'd buy her, she's already had some training so you'll be refreshing her.

For the price, she is definately worth seeing.
I would be concerned about the right front foot on her. It almost looks like she is clubbed. If that is the case, I don't think she would be a good jumper prospect.

For that price and with that color I think she would be a good project horse, especially if she already has training. However, I would not sell her to someone who has plans to breed her, she doesn't look to have breeding-quality conformation in my opinion. Maybe bad pictures, but I'm not a fan of what I am seeing in any of the pictures provided so far.

However, she does look like she may be a good low-level competition horse suitable for a kid who wants to go out there and have fun. My main question meeting her in person would be - does she have the temperment for such a job? It takes a special horse to make a good kids horse. If she doesn't have the temperment for that, then I would pass her up.

Her coloring is beautiful, and I think with some grooming and some work she will be really beautiful.
How is her disposition? If she has a nice temperament, I'd go for it. And, I've always had small horses....14.1 to 14.3hh, so I don't think she is too small for adults at all if you decide to go that route too!!

For a 5 year old she was a bit scrawny if you ask me. There will be better horses out there. I just got an email today, an older lady is giving away 3 Paint broodmares, she cannot care for them anymore.

Have you looked at the BLM site? They have halter trained mustangs up and also 2 broke horses.

Well, that's a bummer that she did that to you. Maybe that means you will find something even better?!
