Please stop and remember all of the brave people who have served, and are now serving....
My Dad was a photographer/warrant officer in the Marines during WWII.

Yep! I think it's a good thing for people to stop and remember. My dad was in the Navy right at the tail end of WWII

Yuppers man. My grandfather, rest his soul, was in WWII. All of my siblings were military, 2 retired out of the 4 of us. My BIL is retired too. We have a history of vets. Sorry to say, thats pretty much where it ended.
My son tried to get in, but didnt make it, medical reasons.
I pray that our soldiers stay strong and safe. We need them.
Bless those of you that have seen conflicts and/or war. Your service is something to be proud of.
Man, pass the tissues......

It's remembrance day here. At 11:00 everyone stops and thinks about everyone who fought in war and stuff for 2 minutes. I think it's a great idea.

Yes, be sure and thank a veteran today!!! I did!! My hubby served in the Army for 8 years and did a tour in Kosovo. It was right before the Iraq war started that he got out. My Grandfathers were both in W.W.II and my Step-Father served in Vietnam. He was shot down and bayoneted, had to pretend to be dead and had to get out of enemy territory on foot. He wasn't taken as a prisoner. It's amazing what our men and women in the military have been through for us.
