Thank you Sundays Man and Houston Farrier!!
I was Army, trained Combat Medic, and Fight Operations.
I was in for 6 yrs, from 1986 - 1992, and was in one conflict, in Honduras, Operation Golden Pheasant, some know as Operation Just Cause.
I need to retract the tie in, of the two Operations above, Just Cause came just after Golden Pheasant.
Both had 2nd and the 9th Infantry there. I tie them in all the time cause of that.
Bless you my fellow Vets, and those currently in service.

Thanks. I never got to go into conflict as a medic, but I liked knowing that I was trained to "Kick @ss" and fix ya, if the feeling came over me...LOL. When in Hondo, we were a huge target though, Flight Ops, gesh, uh duh...lol
But I loved every minute of it. I was so the bia back then...lol
Sorry, had to use that statement a few times in my past. Today, I couldnt kick my own @ss...LMBO

Just wanted to say thank you again for all those who lost lives and who didn't, fighting for our country.
My pappy had a purple heart, a red star, and a couple other medals. Not sure what wars he was in though. That sounds horrible but I can't honestly remember.

Agent Orange....a common jungle defoliant used in vietnam....they would just spray it on the jungle, even when the troops were there....didn't know it would cause cancer until decades later, when they all started dying off.
