Went to the barn tonight

Well, i went to see my dante tonight.:) the weather was....icky. it was cold & rainy & just all around upleasant.:doh: but...that's what indoor arenas are for, right? lol. thankfully she was good w/ being caught, so i didn't have to chase her around the cold muddy pasture:)
after i was done grooming & tacking up my wet fuzzy horse, we went up to the arena...i figured not many people would be out cause of the weather, but there were several people riding. anyways....we did lots of trotting, mostly so i could work on my posting skills. (sitting trot? sure, i can do that. posting? uhh....) lol. she was a little moody- she doesn't like riding w/ other horses, everytime someone passes us she feels the need to pin her ears and glare at them.....but other than that she was great. let's see......we also worked on pivoting & lots of circles.

Awww.... cute pictures!! Don't worry about the sitting trot yet, it takes alot of core strength to do it correctly. She sure is cute! My mare didn't like other horses passing her either, she would pin her ears and swish her tail, never kicked but got a very sour face lol.

yeah....ive just recently started riding english, which is why im not used to the whole posting thing, lol. :rolleyes: it's a really nice barn....big indoor & outdoor arenas.
