Hello! I am the only one on here........ :eek:lol at least in general chat. Lane had me up at 3:57:yawn: so figured I'd hop on! M&M cookies and coffee here.:coffee: Hot tea also.
Sold our truck last night, so off to look for a new one now. We were looking at Dodge 1500 Hemis anyone have experience with these?

ON a horsie note Susey is not getting much attention, these short days and cold nights keep me in. Anyone else go out a lot less once winter hits? I'm not much on cold weather.

Oh this morning I hung a milk jug with a couple stones in it in the stall to keep her occupied, she wasn't sure what to think of it or do with it...:huh:

Well not much planned for the day, I have to get a hold of the farrier to get sui scheduled for friday hopefully, have to get an appt to get my wicked hair cut before turkey day too! Well everyone have a beautiful day, Weeks almost OVER!!!!!!!

Morning... just spent 4 hours evaluating a choke horse... all on a sprained ankle.. not fun! Pony's doing well though, just gonna need so antibiotics for a while to clear up the pnemonia!

Everyone cross your finger's for me... I'm getting wind that they may try to cancel my show this weekend! The barn owner is gripping about the weather and that there arn't enough entries! So I'm crossing my fingers a toes that it doesn't get canceled!

Hope everyone's having a great week... half way there!!!

I go to Wally world for groceries too if we're in the area. Save $ in one way but end up buying WAY more than I need to. :)

AU hope your day gets better! Go get some sleep!

Morning all! Coffee is on here, with scrambled eggs and toast if anyone's interested. Not too much planned here today, just working till 1 pm and then off to the barn. Hopefully the weather cooperates and I can do some stuff with Kota. Mandi, good luck with the truck hunt. The Hemis are good motors, pull very well. My only suggestion, if you can, get with the MDS motor, so it will save you on fuel costs when not pulling the trailer. Good luck and I hope everybody has a good day.

Good morning everyone! I'll take one of those M&M cookies for breakfast dessert, please! Over easy eggs, toast and sausage here for anyone who wants some.

I'm off to town in a little bit- going to pick up some last minute groceries- forgot my list yesterday, lol! Then I'll pick up Trixie, whom I have now labeled a kitten cat:oops:and bring her home. For anyone whose curious, I put up a thread in pets about that yesterday.

Mandisue, good luck on the truck- if it comes up missing out of your yard, don't look in mine:p! I'd love to have a Dodge with the Hemo engine!

AUEquine, I hope your day gets better, and your show doesn't get cancelled.

Gliderider, have fun babysitting!

LP, hope you have a good day with Kota.

Have a great day, everyone!

Whoohoo! This week's been insane. I was feeling kinda sick-ish yesterday, so I bought Airborne (it actually contains that E-stuff that's like a magic cure-all) and I feel a lot better this morning. I'm going to take some more in a few minutes.

Mom and I are going out shopping (she's on vacation this week), so I'm in the process of getting dressed while she takes little bro to school. He has a 32 in English (he speaks English!), so I think there'll be fireworks tonight. I'll probably go see the horses. :innocent:

I'll leave you with this picture of Lucky (the black dog) and my cousin Alex (the human wearing black) watching Roto do Meercat-ing in his new, warm sweather that he actually doesn't destroy!!!! A friend of mine bought it for him because he shivers all the time. He loves it, but it's a little big so I'm going to wash and dry it in our magic shrinking machines (the washer & drier) this evening. :D

Morning all.
Mandi-Hubby's work truck is a Dodge 2500 with a hemi- pulls good-not great though, but you are not able to drive by a gas statation. Our GMC diesel pulls way better than the Dodge. We fight over which truck I am supposed to use and I win and take the GMC.
AU-I will cross my fingers and toes you get to show.
Glide-Have fun at Wally-World. I do not shop there much, there produce up here is NASTY. But they carry my guys favorite pop-tarts
Lakota- I wish I was only working until 1:00 today (although I may go home sick)
Gypsy-I am glad I am not the only one who has to make 2 trips when you forget the list.
Jet- Have fun at Equine Aff. I am not going to make it down. I need to put that money towards Cane's surgery bill.
OffKey- I love that picture. Airborne does work, especially when you take it as soon as you notice.

Well I came home from a meeting Monday night to find hubby still sick in bed, and the dog sprayed by a skunk. So my day off was spent cleaning the dog, and airing out the garage. Then I took Jonathan to see Madagascar 2. Today I feel like poop, the kids are wound and it is freezing as something is up with the heat. It is gonna be a long day.

I am just sipping my hot choc. if anyone wants some.

Good Morning Everyone,
Cloudy and cool here this morning. Not much on my ajanda(sp) today. Think I'll sit in front of the fire and read.
Mandy I agree with Tanya on the Hemi. We didn't have a Hemi but big engine(not my thing don't know about that part) and we were forever putting gas in that thing. We traded for a Dodge Diesel. I love it, it was worth every extra $ it cost. We are a amazeda at the gas milage 20 - 23 mpg. When we pull we get anywhere from 18-20 mpg. And it pulls great Don't know there's anything back there. THat's my 2 cents worth.
Hope you all have a great day.

Good Morning all. I'm praying for a better day today, myself. Last night it kept on spirialing out of control. The gentleman & good friend of my BO where we get our hay from his house burnt down last night. Poor guy & his pregnant wife have lost just about everything. Thankfully the red cross is around & helped put them in a temporary home. Then a riding buddy of mine found out that her Aunt & 4 of her 5 kids were killed in a bad car accident yesterday. :( So close to the holidays too. Needless to say I'm a little bummed and like I said in my post last evening about my "Ranting", I shouldn't of been ranting about my stupid little life bumps... GRRRR.

For me~ class today, then off the the TV repair guy to see if my TV is worth fixing, then back to class. Work tomorrow.

Not sure what is for breakfast but coffee is brewing!!

Hope everyone has a happy, safe Wednesday.

Mandi-Chevy, or GMC would be my choice
AU-Hope you get to show
Glide-I have my list, can you pick a few things up for me
Lakota-Enjoy the horses, Ill take some of those eggs please.
Gypsy-If Glide dosnt want my list, will you take it?
Jet-Enjoy the EQ Affair.
OffKey- What a cute pic. Careful you dont shrink it to much, better a little big than to small.
Tanya-Sounds like you need some alone or away time. Hope hubby gets well, the kids settle, and you have the best smelling spray for your dog.
Horse-you got the right idea, fire and a good book.
FFE((HUGS))Sounds like a big day yesterday. So close to the holidays, so much lost in both situations. I hope all can recover, hearts, and money, which ever is needed in each situation.

Ive been dinking around and getting things just put here and there, cleaning spots as needed, house is gonna be back to normal in no time. Wooohooo. I dont mind clutter in my house, but I dont like it disorganized. Im finally finding myself again, ya know, the full time job and trying to stay on top of it here, mostly alone, is finally turning around. I like it...lol

You all have a wonderful day!!

Have a great day everyone! :cowboy:Oh This is so cute! So you have one of those magic shrinking machines too huh? I'm always afraid to wash things because I know if it's something I don't want to shrink it will come out teeny tiny. If it's something I WANT to shrink it won't. I am the worst domestic person in the world! The dog is really cute in the sweater! Does he have a stroller? My friend has a little dog and she has a stroller she loves to ride in, it's hysterical.

Today doesn't promise to be a good day. My man has to go get his stomach scoped. The Dr doesn't think there is anything wrong but my husband thinks he's the only one in the world who gets an upset stomach sometimes so he's going to be scoped to relieve his mind. I'm a nervous wreck about the test and hoping there is nothing wrong and I have to drive home from town, I've never done that before. I hate to drive. I go to the stable and back because I love the stable, I don't love Drs.

All of this on top of still worrying about Noah. I finally left him for the first time yesterday. My friend from the stable told me I'm turning into an agoraphobic so get my *&& up there and watch her ride so I can call 911 if one of the whack jobs she was riding threw her. All was fine, no 911 but I like to be there when she's riding alone. We've been more nervous since Aug. when there was a bad accident up there. 2 girls got hurt, one really bad, she's still not back. I also rode one of the new horses she got in, a pretty white one and I am usually not drawn to white only because they are hard to keep clean but he has such a pretty face, real long eye lashes. He's a Western Pleasure horse. He's older and knows so much.

Noah seems to be doing fine but his mother still worries! I'm worried about him and now my man. The cats are growling an smacking each other, Molly has dared to lay next to Jack and touched Jack's leg. They sort of get along but still growl and smack at times. Will it ever end? It's been 3 weeks since they've been together. They give mixed signals as far as they will be nice to each other then go after each other. KIDS! I will be glad when this day is over.

Hope everyone else has fun....Oh yeah it's also 20 degrees and cold!

Morning everyone. Tanya I'll take some of that hot chocolate. :) How is Cane doing?

Nothing new here. There is SNOW on the ground, but I can still see the grass through. Went out this morning to measure AGAIN for the blankets for the horses. I think I got it this time. They looked miserable all wet so I definitely want to spoil them and get them blankets for Christmas. They weren't cold, but it's not that cold out there now.

I LOVE WINTER. :(

Good morning! Hopefully you will remember our storm trailer we bought to get out from under our tall trees when we have high winds predicted.... well last night we had occasion to try it out for the first time. Slept in it. Here we are settling in after trudging out there at bed time. It fit three wet dogs and a couple wet people! :)

http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m270/WashingtonBay/11-12-08001.jpg

Luckily though we got a LOT of rain, we didn't get the high winds that were predicted, at least right where we were. And we slept pretty good out there.

Hey everyone!! I hope everyone up there in Washinton is stayning safe!! Lots of rain and wind coming, poor ponies...
I think i'm going to have some Ego Toaster Swirlz this morning, never had them before. Off to work a little bit later and then if it's not pouring out after I get off I'm going to go work with a filly that I am doing ground work with. She had her feet trimmed a few days ago and her owner said she picked up all of her feet for the farrier!! Whoo hoo!! That was a big test for her, I have only been working her for 2 weeks and she wouldn't pick them up when I started. If I have time after that I'll probably just brush Niko, I would like to ride but mud, wind and rain don't go together...

I'm sure Sedona has about as much water in her yard as she can stand right now.

The perplexing part of these pineapple expresses is how warm it is. I had to take the horse blankets off, it's nearly 60 degrees. So now I have wet horse blankets drying in my living room and it smells a little swampy in here.

Evening everybody. I woke up at 3 am because my mind was waiting for a phone call from the school telling us that we had a delay or a day off (we were getting a rain/snow mix when I went to bed) and I didn't get it. School was great.

Then I got home. I got into an argument with my mom over the bailout because every time she gets something into her head she just won't let it go. She always assumes she's right and won't let anyone tell her otherwise. If you contradict her long enough she starts yelling and tells you you don't know what your talking about.

Now I have a headache and I'm pretty sure we're out of Tylenol. :( I don't feel too great right now either. It's raining again. Pray for at least a 2 hour delay tomorrow. Sorry my post turned into a vent over my mom.

oursarge - My mother isn't very domestic either... and I inherited the magic shrinky-dink gene. :D All my friends get my Mom to wash their clothes if they're a little big. I'm not as reliable of a shrinker as she is. I didn't get a chance to shrink it today, hopefully I will tomorrow night or Friday.

Vick, I wouldn't shrink it (because it is a dog in a sweater), but he shivers a lot, so he does need it... but when he runs around in it and tries to play he has a tendency to get a leg caught back up into the sweater - then he's running around in circles on three legs going "what's going on?". It's funny, but I feel bad for the poor little guy at the same time. :cowboy:

Nope, no stroller. I only have two legs and I have to walk - Roto has twice as many as me, so he definitely has to walk! :p Lucky only weighs 20lbs and he has to walk everywhere too. If he gets arthritis when he gets old (he's 9), then I'd probably get him a stroller so he can relax... but he's a little spoiled. ;)

WBs - All five of you look very comfy. :)
