Guys please keep him in your prayers. He hasn't come home in 2 days. He is declawed and neutered. He is 4 years old now. I really miss him. He always goes outside in the morning but at dark has always come home. There is a huge black cat that tore up one of my other cats and I am afraid that he may of hurt Stripes may of even killed him. Pray that he will come home tonight. I miss my boy a lot.

Well guys I went outside and started hollering his name. He came home but he is limping on his back leg. Now I can sleep better knowing he is home and back inside. Thanks guys. I just couldn't stand here not doing anything and I know that if he can hear my voice he will come home. I am glad that my boy made it home. Don't know where he has been the last 2 days but hopefully he will stay inside today and rest his leg.

Oh - very good! Woo hoo!
You may still end up with a vet bill, but at least he's OK now. :)

Yeah I know. I called the vet already and she said to wait and see right now. His leg isn't swollen and no heat so she said to wait till morning and go from there. You can bet your money if he is still really sore on it then he goes to the vet tomorrow.

Well, I was thinking if he'd been in a fight, that those scratches and bites always get infected. But if you don't see sign of that, could be anything. Hopefully, just over did it out being a bad kitty and will be better with rest.
Our Homer dog was pretty stiff and sore after his 30 hour escapade.

Yeah I think they like worrying the ones that love them.

So glad he's home. Mine are all house cats and if they ever got out they wouldn't know what to do and I'm afraid I'd never see them again. They pretty much stay away from the doors but you just don't know. Anyway glad he's home and hope his leg is OK.

Thanks Oursarge. He used to be just an inside kitty but he wasn't happy. Since we moved out to our farm I didn't have any trouble letting him out during the day as long as he came home. He does do that but we are having trouble with this big black male Tom. He tore the neck of one of my cats Nova. He finally healed up but had to have antibiotics to help heal. I just don't like that cat he hisses every time you walk up on him and I am not sure if he has rabies. All of my animals are vaccinated for rabies even my horses every year.

That black cat sounds scary. Is there a way to trap him and take him to a rescue or something? Mine all came from being outside cats and wanted to be inside so I think that's why they are happy inside because they had hard lives on the streets. Someone threw Jack out on the streets of Jersey City when he was just a tiny baby and he had 5 homes in 8 months. He's here for good now, he's the sweetest boy. He was so lucky someone found him before he got hit with a car or stepped on or something else bad. Molly was trapped at a Feral cat colony also in NJ and we don't know alot about Bo's past. We got her from the kill shelter.
When I lost my cat Muffy yrs ago we had a barn cat named Oliver who was so sweet. Looked very much like your baby. I thought maybe he'd like to come in since he used to look in the windows. He would not stay in, he'd come in one door and want out the other so that didn't work and I think he got upset that I tried to keep him in because after that he went away. I can only hope that he got another home and a coyote didn't get him. That was years ago and I still miss him, he was such a good cat, he loved to be carried around, I used to carry him when I checked the fence every day. I hope he found another barn he liked better than ours and nothing bad happened. Hugs to your baby, hope he knows not to take off again!

I hope so. I know my other cat Boots is a beautiful boy. Out so called friends had him and when they moved they left him behind. I at first wanted to take him to the shelter because I didn't know if I really wanted another cat in the house besides my Stripes. Boots was stand offish and wouldn't come to us or anything. Come to find out my friends would hurt him. He used to be so scared that if you walked towards him he would cower. So I couldn't take him to the shelter I know people would not want him so he stayed.
Boots is now one of the nicest cats I have ever owned and the best thing about him is he loves to talk to you. He is Siamese part. I have never really liked Siamese cats but we won my heart and is actually the father of the 2 kittens I have. Baloo and Xena. Boots was fixed 6 weeks before they were born.
I think the best thing to watch though is Boots and Stripes love each other. When they are both in the house if you see one the other one is close by.

I'm so glad he's home - it's so hard when they "stay out late" I don't let either of mine out just for that reason.
