Question about Limewire!

Ok I just got limewire today and I figured out how to download videos, but how do you watch them? :huh:

If they're copyrighted, it's illegal - but I won't go on about that ;). Word of warning - not work the risk anymore. Too easy to track, 10 years in jail and an unlimited fine.

Anyway, what format are they in? Try googling 'FLV player' and that should play most formats.
However, they may be compressed in a .RAR archive (:D) or .ISO.

If you can find out the file extension I can tell you how to open it :).

What's the point of having limewire if you can't even watch the videos? It's not like I want to publish them or anything. I just want to watch them.

Anyway I don't know what file type the one I just downloaded is.

My mom wanted to get limewire because she's doing a school project and she wants to be able to download videos from limewire and put them on a Powerpoint. :rolleyes:

If you want to watch vidoes without risk of computer virus (limewire is STACKED with them) you can go to VH1 or VH1 classics - they've got TONS of vidoes out there. Even Yahoo music has huge amounts of videos you can watch including the newest stuff.
