I found Babs a home where she woudl be better suited after she injuried her leg trying so hard for my son ... I did not sell her but she is out on a long term lease .. she is doing great and still thriving on her ration balancer and hay diet.. she is actually MORE spoiled then when I had her .. only gets ridden MAYBE once a week now and no more barrels andpoles for the old girl she gets to do her favorite thing plop the trails

I think it's neat! Babs is semi famous now, and her story could help a lot of other horses!

Glad she's doing well in her new home, though she's probably spoiled more than you'd lik!

That is cool, I never realized how touchy a horse's digestive system could be until I read that. She's lucky she's got people who love her and will do anything to make her comfortable. :)

Wish we'd been able to use the store's computer on the big screen tonight- Babs' story was exactly the type of thing we were talking about tonight at the senior horse care clinic I went to, lol!

A friend of mine who has an IR horse is building it ... it is far from "complete" but has alot of good information on it

she went to U of I and has her degree I wanna say in Ag Studies but not sure LOL what she found is the same as what many of us run into there are NO sites with all the information in one spot so she is trying to build one..

Don't be afraid to ask her questions on the site... speaking of I need to go an read the question adn answers again havent' done that in a while!! LOL
