So here is a video of Raven tonight.

For those that don't know, she came here because she was supposedly aggressive and dangerous.

(By the way I can call out all my horses by name like I did Raven. She was eating hay when I called, and I didn't hold a bucket in my hands. I went to get it later. )

Well she had no ground manners, was hard to lead, very pushy and food aggressive.
She'd pin her ears and grind her teeth. When I didn't want to give her the grain bucked she span around and wanted to kick me. Luckily I kept my distance, so I didn't get it.
She wasn't respnsive to any pressure. If I tried to make her step away she would have pushed in to me instead. Hoping to make me go away.
She is not so soft like Crystal is, but is improving every day. There was no way i could mess with her while she was eating before.
She also didn't want to pick her feet. Her hoofs were ugly. They are still cracked up, but at least she holds them for me. I trimmed her few weeks ago. So you can see what they look like now. She seems to be moving better too.

I rode her yesterday. She still grinds her teeth a little when I cinch her up, but no more ears pinning and now she stands still. She also stands still for me to get on and off - she was horrible at that.
She had also problems trotting, she was breaking to lope all the time. I trotted her last night at complete dark along the fields and she held the trot all the way home. I was also carrying a bag with metal trays that kept rattling the whole time and she didn't miss a beat.
I can also open and close a gate from her back now. She waits while I dangle with the chain and loop it around too.
And I finally got her stopping from all three gaits. Never had to use one rain stop on her any more!

This is incredible progress. :) Kudos to you! Is she yours, or are you just training her?

Thank you!
Well originally I thought I'll just fix her issues and sell her. But she is turning out to be a better horse than I expected. Once she figured out that she is not the boss of me she became very willing. So right now it depends if I can get her bombproof, so my husband and son can ride her.
My son has absolutely no riding experience; I need a horse that will put up with a lot and will take care of him.
He sits on a horse like a sack of potatoes and has no horse sense whatsoever. But lately he showed interest in riding with me.
I really feel like she may be the one.

Thank you everyone!

Oh those chickens are driving me crazy. I wish there was a way to teach them not to go under the horse. One got stepped on today.
They were supposed to be a snake food, but I cannot kill animals. So I was waiting on my husband to kill them for me. And he never got around to it. They got too big, and now I have 100 roosters running around everywhere I look!
I guess we'll be eating chickens for months once they grow up.
It will be intesting once they'll strat crowing.
