She is having a tooth extracted, teeth cleaned, and the melanoma removed. I will update when I get the call after surgery.

UPDATE
Wohooooo! Lady is out of surgery and doing great! Wont keep her eyes of the girl(which is soooo like her). They were able to save the tooth, and just do a cleaning. As far as the melanoma, the vet is unsure, which is a good sign, cause he can usually tell if it is right away.
So, in 5 to 7 days,,,give or take a couple, we will have results. Looking good! Lady my love, you are such a trooper.
OH, I GET TO GO GET HER AT 230!!!! Im so happy, or should I say Im ecstatic!!

Lady is home! She ate a small amount(vets office said 1/2 of regular feed for now)and is resting.
She is tired(yes I got a pic of her, will share later).
I am heading to take a nap while she is resting.

Silly girl is gonna drive me nuts.
She comes home, jumps up on the couch, when I get up, she jumps down.
I went to the bathroom, she jumps up ON the bed, then off again.
So, I put Gizzys crate near the couch and put her in it for awhile so I could take a nap. I closed but did not lock the crate. She was out, but laying on the floor when I woke up.
When we(dogs and I)came back in from feeding Myst, Shyla and Tex started playing and I wanted to go out for a smoke, so I crated her so she would not start in playing too.
She is in good spirits, so there is no telling what she may do.
The cut is about 2 inches, and I know its deep due to the size of the tumor, so I dont want her tearing it open.

Im glad I had 2 days off in a row. I am thinking of crating her while Im at work though, at least until I see some skin closure.

Glad she's feeling better, I had that cut I'd be screaming "GIVE ME DRUGS" and wouldn't be wanting to play. Hope she heals fast and will be back to playing real soon. Crating is probably good since you don't want that breaking open. I didn't realize it would be so big. Poor baby but she's a brave girl.

She's such a beautiful dog, I love her eyes, she has the most expressive eyes.... she looks real perky and alert after her vet stay and surgery, I'm so glad she's doing OK!

Ann, it was pretty big. Im the only one that knew it was there(besides Lady).
Im surprised at how many people loved on her that I never got a "whats that" from them, even bathers. Its been there for some time, but not a yr.(wasnt there at last vet visit).

Remali, she was pretty alert. It was cute seeing her eyes 1/2 awake for being so active.
If you go back and look at the pics I put up yesterday.
First pic, just a little marbling, 2nd pic, full brown eye, 3rd pic, cant see shes about out there, 4th pic, lots of marbling, crate pic, to fuzzy to see.
I love how her eyes change within seconds. I have had people think she was cross eyed she had so much white showing...LOL.

The redness is gone this morning. Her skin is all white again! Stitches and cut look wonderful!

LOL..between you and I ya, but not her idea of fun...LOL

I took it off for 1/2 hr last night, so she could eat and run outside for a bit. Not happening again. That area next to the bottom stitch is raw. Not bad nor infected, but still, darn silly girl needs to knock it off.
She now knows how to eat with her e-collar on!!!
