It was a cyst and is benign!!!:clap::clap::clap:

I almost cried tears of joy when I got the call.

The report says a lot of stuff I have NO clue what it means, but what I do understand is.....

These masses are fairly common in dogs and cats and are totally benign.

The color of her skin is what had the vet concerned, until he removed the cyst, then he was unsure, which is not like him to be. I guess he usually can tell during surgery what he is looking at. Im glad she stumped him!!! :D

Now my lil girl just needs to heal.
I took her in the other day(icky stuff from her licking)but its not the stich, its next to it where it is raw(now healing)
I got a spray that is helping heal it.
So, the stitches may be in for some extra time due to that, but Id rather they be in and her fully owy free.
She is happy and wants to run with the dogs but I dont let her play. Poor baby.
She is also wearing an e-collar(since day 2).

I am so glad this has ended so well. I didn't want you to have to go through the same thing I did with Payton. I'm so happy for you and Lady.

That is the best news, I think Noah was watching out for her. Hopefully she will heal fine and fast. She is so beautiful when I read the news I was all teary too. Hugs and more hugs to her.

She is doing much better, thank you for asking!

Here is a pic I just took. Looks small but its not.

The cut is 2 inches long with I think 5 stitches(maybe 1 I cant see). Im sure it was a deep cut due to the size of the cyst. Ill have to ask the vet how big it ended up being.
The black area on the bottom, where she licked, was really big, bigger than a 50 cent piece, and a bit on the top stitch. Not sure how she got her tongue there to lick, but she did.
I have some spray I put on it daily and it sure helped it heal. It was NASTY, just from a few hrs of licking. Thick scab and yellowish, vet said it was ok, just some stuff(forget what she called it).
It was swollen too and she did NOT want it touched(not like her).
Silly girl has had the cone on ever since I caught her licking so bad. Poor baby...lol.
I will take her to work with me Tuesday to have the vet assess(sorry spelling) it and see if the stitches can come out. I will still leave her cone on until she is fully healed or she will be back licking at it again.
