View Full Version : Send A *Holiday* Message To The Troops

Just got this from my Base e-mail, anybody have loved ones in the military send them a Holiday Greeting.

Stars and Stripes has launched its annual "Stripes Holiday Messages" program online. People are invited to send messages of love and support to their men and women stationed overseas. These Free messages will be printed in the European, Pacific and Middle East editions of Stars and Stripes on December 20 as long as they are received by the November 28 deadline.

Click on the link below to submit a message in the Stars and Stripes to a military member that you know -- or to all military members who are serving our nation. This could be a holiday project that a Scout group, 4H or Church group might be interested in doing.

I did sticky it... and I think gave it a better Holiday Greeting title to hopefully attract people who would like to participate. :)

My father is in the military, But hes not over seas. Sadly, hes not even home, not sure if hes going to make it up for christmas either. Its a very good idea!

It's the least I can do. :)

We're sending 4 carepackages overseas to soldiers, and I'll be sending about 10-15 cards out to various soliders overseas. :)

Our tradition the past 3 or 4 yrs is to send our atleast 4 carepackages. This is the first year I'll be doing the cards, but I have been penpals before, which is awesome. I've got a scrapbook of all my soldier letters. I'm lookin' at taking a new penpal after Christmas. I'd love to now but would hate not to get a letter wrote and a soldier be waiting for me to send a letter and I not get to with things been so busy right now.

May God Bless all our Soldiers and Veterans! Merry Christmas to them all! :)
