I have a saddle just like this except mine is a round skirt. I LOVE it. It is getting kind of beat up because I use it so much, and since I'm selling both of my other saddles (because they aren't working for me and my horses), I'm down to just one. I would LOVE to have this saddle for Beauty.

The only thing I'm not sure about is I think it's a 16" seat. I'm used to a 15". But it shouldn't be that big of a difference I wouldn't think.

Technically since I have a buyer for my barrel saddle I could turn around and my buy this one. I mean $250 obo? That sounds like a really good deal to me. But with the barn being built and Christmas coming and other bills to pay I shouldn't do it. But man do I want to!

There for a while I wanted to save up a lot of money and buy a rough out leather barrel saddle, but I've decided since then that I like synthetic Big Horns so I should just stick with that to save money. That saddle is exactly what I want/need. I'd take those red boots of her hands too for Dakota. *Sigh* Oh well. Vent over!:p

Anyone else need a new saddle? It sure looks nice. And I know for a fact that Big Horns are great.:) I LOVE mine.

Oh, what a shame. I sold that saddle last year on eBay.

LOL, Dakota, that saddle you're riding in has had thousands of miles on it before you, and it is still a good ride;). I hope you can get a newer model! Just be sure the gullet width is correct before you buy. Good luck, and it never hurts to drop in a wish with Santa (I still do, but I don't think I have been on the "nice" list lately:innocent:)

I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm, but 16" is big enough to make a difference in how you fit the saddle. So if a 15" is great fit for you, I'd keep looking. I'll bet there will be lots out there right about now.

Well I've never ridden in a 16", I've always had a 15" seat. So I guess I don't know if I'd like a 16" or not. I sold my barrel saddle because it was a 14" and felt a little too small.

But then I can't get it anyway so I guess it doesn't matter lol.

I have a 16" saddle when I should really have between a 14 and 15. I keep it because it fits my gelding and I don't use it much anyways, but when I got my 15" Big Horn for Cheyenne the difference was amazing. I actually wanted to use the saddle all the time, lol.

Looked just like the one you pictured...I think it was 16 though.
