I couldnt help it. I just had to take a pic of Tex in trouble. He is soooo shamed. He kept growling at Shyla(which is normal for him)and I told him to stop and come here. Shyla could care less, Tex could be her dinner, but still, Tex dosnt have to be onery.
It was a cute moment.

Its so hard to punish them because you wanna laugh cause they look so pitiful.
I usually end up giving my dogs a pointed finger and say shame, and its over, cause they look so darned hurt.

ya that is what we do too. I got mad at Toby yesterday because he had my boyfriends sock in his mouth (he loves our socks, he will pick them out of a pile of clothes and leave the rest).. and I barely did anything and he looked so darn mopey and upset I had to give him his toy to play with so he would get over it haha

At least he's not like my Sasha. When you're nice and happy with her she thinks you're giving her permission to do wrong and she goes off to: eat cat food, whine non-stop and jump on the furniture. If you ignore her and/or say real gruff, "Go lay down Sasha! I mean it." Then she's the best dog in the world. Lays down, minds her own business and stays quiet. It drives me nuts. I can't snuggle or get too happy with her or it comes back to bite me in the butt! :p

SWMS, Id be miserable if I couldnt cuddle with my dogs. They know that loves are a good thing for good dogs!! Im glad that they know tone of voice too. Point a finger and you've beat them. They are good babies!

Well, Sasha was a second-hand hound. She grew up with an older lady who (I know) didn't let her outdoors to potty. That is her main fault. It doesn't happen anywhere near as much as it used to, but it still pops up once in awhile.

The secondary thing is stealing kitty food. :doh: I guess in her past life she was OBESE to the point of not being able to walk properly. This doesn't surprise me after seeing how desperate she is to steal the kitty food. :p

I think in general she is just better behaved when I act as an alpha pack leader. You know telling her where to sleep, etc. She seems content and well behaved when I'm more strong with my commands and looks.

Oh, also she hogs my heater vent! :rant: :rolleyes: :p

I love my little pouch amidst all her silly flaws, though. :D

LOL. Our cats are fed up off the ground or they would not eat, inside or outside cats..lol
The cat food bag is kept in the kitchen closet or it would be eaten.
