Mostly Offline for Awhile - Computer Died

Hello,

Thanks everyone for your help, especially 2ndtoleggy. However, I think my computer completely died this time. Even the Windows XP disc won't work to try to reinstall.

I'm on my wife's computer to send this message, but I won't be able to do this very often. She uses this computer for work and works a lot.

I'll be ordering a new computer, but she asked me to wait at least a little while for holiday sales to see if we can save some money. So, it could be very little forum time for me for a few weeks. Gulp! On the bright side, I should make progress on the model airplane that has been sitting on the workbench in the basement for so long.

So, I'll check in when I can, and I'll let everyone know when I have a new computer and can keep up daily.

Hey there! Sorry to hear you're having computer woes, I had a few glitches with mine lately too.
Glad you at least have access to your wife's computer once in a while....that way you can still pop in here once in a while. What kind of computer do you think you'll order?

Almost certainly a Dell. I really like them and have had great success.
