Well Appylover and I have been coming up with a idea for a west coast (or anyone willing to travel) camping trip/ride. I was thinking it would be a great idea to pick a place that we can all meet up and have a camp out. It will probably be set for after the holidays, maybe spring/early summer time so its not to cold and that way it gives everyone some time to plan for it. So I need to know if there is anyone interested in going so we can plan it a little better. Also we need to know if anyone would like to go but doesn't have a trailer so maybe we can plan a car pool (route pick up) for people with extra room.

That would be so much fun :) If it would work out I'd love to come! I don't have a trailer but I might have access through a friend but then he'd have to come with us. He's kind of a good cowboy to have around though :) Do you guys have a tentative location in mind?
Biggs has never been camping before and really has only done a couple hour trails at the most....how would I start preparing him?

I've heard Anza Borrego State Park, east of San Diego is very pretty in the spring.

That would be awesome! I hope my sister and I will have our trailer by then. We're casually looking for one now. But our truck wouldn't make it through the Cahaun (sp?) pass again (We barely made it the first time when we moved here lol)

We havent started looking into places just yet...we want to get a fill for where everyone is located then try and pick a spot in the middle. I have room for 2 horses in my trailer and appylover has room for 1 and we will pick up people so long as they can provide gas. Im excited I hope this can work out I think it would be a blast.

That would be awesome! Though, Muffin isn't trained to ride yet....hmmm. By spring we will be starting him under saddle and he should already be driving a cart and have a few months of that under his belt. I don't know if you want a stallion on the trail ride anyways?
Well, I guess I will see. Maybe I could just come and visit....

I am ok with stallions as long as they have manners and are not studdy. So IrisGreen, Muffin is more than welcome to come along.

That would be fun. There are some beautiful areas near Big Bear...
We could get a list of forum members who would like to come but can't because of horse issues (green or lame horse etc.) and forum members who might have an extra horse they'd be willing to loan.

That would be cool but it really depends on where it is held.
Hey Irish Green I guess I didn't know Muffin was not gelded  lol, is there a reason?
