Well as most of you know yesterday was mah birthday! I took a nice trail ride on buttercup which went well, took some pics.:cowboy: The pics of the big fellas ( belgians ) is where I used to work at, they live above my moms so I ride on they're trails.
I also included a little spike that I got a pic of before we got going.

NOW to the end of my day. We went to get our new truck. (1 hour away ) and about 1 mile off the lot a ten point buck jumped out from a cliff on the side of the rode ( IN TOWN ) :cloud: and smashed into the passengers side of the dodge................. SO NOT ONE DAY AFTER OWNING IT< We have to take it to the shop and file a deer claim with insurance office.....
Pics of the hemi and it's damage later.... Can't see yet still dark, and its' raining today, how nice...

Onto pics of Buttercup

More pics

Going up into field below mountain. Usually we FLY up this hill but she had no shoes on so we took it easy. Didn't get much farther though about 1/2 way up field saw two hunters above the field so that was the end of our ride. Had to turn around.

Looks like you had a nice bday! I love the ear pics, and the big guys too! That stinks about the hunter though. Ugh...

Thanks, hubs was driving the new truck, I was behind in the caliber. GOOD news is that I had thought our deductible was $500 but it's 250 so that's better at least.

Great pictures!! Buttercup is such a cutie!! Muffin would fall in love with her :p What a story to tell about your truck!! What are the odd of that happening on the first day you own it!! Sheesh.....Glad to here the deductible is $250 and not $500. Well, sounds like your brand new truck already has a story to tell. Good thing you wernt in the passanger seat. That would have scared the crap out of me!!!

Buttercup is sooooo cute!! It sure is pretty where you live, great trails for riding there, I'm jealous!

Bummer about the truck, glad no one was hurt and it wasn't any worse....those darn deer just fly out of nowhere....I've had several near misses that about gave me heart failure!

Very pretty horse and the ride looks nice. Sorry to hear about the deer hitting your new truck. That really sucks!:( And I thought mine was bad when a rock hit my windshield the second day I owned my truck.
Did you at least get to keep the deer for the meat?

Fun ride pictures!

I'm sure sorry about the truck. Did you at least get to keep the deer and eat it? ;)

You could mount the rack on the front of it. - to ward off future deer :)

Thanks for the kind words everyone! My b day wasn't too bad, other than the truck thing. We went out and ran a couple errands together today ( I usually go myself ) and we had a good day together, got all the insurance stuff figured out etc. So at least that parts done. No didn't get the meat.... We were still fairly in town, cars coming in a line both ways ( we were going like 30 mph??? ) so nowhere to pull off and pick up MR BUCK. Although I could have eaten him and enjoyed every minute...

AND thank you for the compliments on buttercup she's blushing!
