Well last night I had a dream about all my instructors horses and in the dream I ended up buying the only (at the moment very thin) mare Freckles and retiring her...as I had planned on doing when I was younger. I thought I would share some pictures of her along with only a few of the many horses of my past.

First Off My Brother...
He used to ride a lot but because of baseball quit and now only ridings on ocasion. He was a very good rider and loved the Quarter Horses and did well with mares.

My Brother's First Fun Show (after 4 weeks of lessons) on Lucky who is now 34 years old...registered Quarter Horse (sadly he is now also skinny).

A Few years later at a Medival Fun Show on Sadie...11 year old Quarter Horse

My Sister
She still rides today and has been riding for almost 4 years

This is also her first fun show after about a month of lessons on a Appendix named Dakota.

And Here is Freckles
She was blind in one eye and an amazing Arabian. I loved her to death and rode her for years until I took on a new horse at the barn. We had such a connection.

her last show in a bit...she was a great lil gamer

I barrel raced her in a halter...go figure

Medival Show

Here is Missy, she was a GORGEOUS 12 year old Arabian mare. In the first picture don't mind my hair and my stupid make up I did a team pattern before the fun show.

And here is my last love before Trouble. He was the newest horse my instructor had. A 10 year old registered Quarter Horse gelding Oak K Doc or Dash. He did everything from jumping, cutting, western pleasure, to dressage. But sadly because of his previous owners and their abusive ways his nerves and consist fear of thinking he would get in trouble he never made a good show horse.

Fun Show...my friend is riding Missy

Halter 3rd place out of 21 horses (acted insane though)

Awe, beautiful horses and great pictures! I'm sorry to hear that some of them are not in the best condition any more though. And that's really sad about Oak K Doc.:(

What neat pics! Thanks for sharing them with us. Bummer that some of the horses are going downhill with age, though.

Thanks Dakota. Yeah sadly all of the horses are apparently skinny besides Dash, Sadie, and Missy. Freckles, Dakota, and Lucky are getting up there in years and need extra care which they are not receiving.
