Another fire, closer to home then the last...

With the Santa Ana Winds comes the fires. :(

This one we can see the large smoke clouds from our backyard and I have to wear my mask when outside. My lungs and throat can feel it. It's in the Anaheim hills and Yorba Linda area, my good friends parents live in Yorba Linda, I'm waiting to hear from her if her parents house is in danger.
They have shut down the 91 and the 241 :eek: and the fire is burning out of control, very random mostly structure fires and some in the Santa Ana River beds.
my thoughts and prayer for the families involved. I am really praying my friends family is safe.

Sorry so big I am trying to get them posted before my computer stops cooperating with me. She's being good so far today! :-D

I wish I could show you the view from my back yard right now. THe sun has set yet the hills in the far distance are still glowing orange. Unfort. My computer is still down and I am using my BIL's MAC and i can't put photos on here.

Woke up with a nast nasty sore throat, looks like it has moved further north judging by the smoke cloud outside. Kids are still sleeping so I haven't turned on the news yet.

I am safe where I am and so is danastark we're just getting the smoke.

News station said the fire in Mencino almost got actor Rob Lowe's house... :(

How is it so far today? I heard that the fires in Montecito were pretty bad. I sure hope everyone gets out safely and they get all the pets and other animals out too. I always worry so about the small animals that may be stuck in cages or pens, like rabbits and small dogs......
