I keep meaning to start a post about this book and finally I am! Just a couple of weeks ago I stopped by Barnes and Nobel and headed towards the horse section of course. :) I found this really great book called Horse Miracles : Inspirational Tue Stories of Remarkable Horses by Brad Steiger and Sherry Hansen Steiger. I absolutely love reading all of the stories. It really is a nice light read that you can pick up whenever you feel like it. Has anyone read it? If you'd like to share your horse miracles here too that would be awesome as well.

P.S. If you havent read it I'm obviously recommending it :p (It's only 12-13 dollars too!)

I love to read, it sounds like a book I'd really like too.....I'll have to head to Borders and see if they have it.

I haven't even heard of that one, I'll have to look for it! I love Hope Rising (Kim Meeder) and Angel Horses (Allen & Linda Anderson). Angel Horses sounds like the same basic idea (like Chicken Soup for the Horse Lover's Soul?); Hope Rising is about a farm for teens and horses - I highly recommend it. :)

I think every horse is a miracle. At some point in their life they meet someone (or someone meets them) and for some reason unbeknownst to us, they do something absolutely amazing that changes absolutely everything for that one, singular person. I've been lucky enough to have two of those life-changing horses in my life, one of them still lives in my pasture.

I've read parts of it and really liked it. Hopefully I'll get a chance to read the whole thing.

I've got this book as well. I really liked the first few stories, but after those it got a little too Hokie for me.

I will agree that a few stories there in the middle are a little eh but once you push through them you find some nice things.

OOh... ALOK, I really liked Hope Rising and A Bridge Called Hope both by Kim Meeder. I will have to put this one on my Christmas list!
