Equine Affaire was so good. We camped for three days and still I didn't want to leave.
I was disappointed in Ryan Gingerich. He did a round pen clinic and basically said round penning wasn't necessary. I don't agree. Also, he was very hard to hear...I guess he needs more experience and confidence.
Fantasia was fabulous. I'd love to know how the trainers that work on the ground with their horses do what they do. One lady worked with her white Andalusian and another with her white Arabs. Watching the communication between horse and human was so inspiring.
For gaited folks, Liz Graves was awesome. I'd love to take a clinic with her...she has so much experience, is so kind to the horses and is a very clear, easy to understand teacher. Unfortunately she's in Minnesota and I'm in NY. Anybody from NY want to bring her here?
