Yes the spurs are made into the boot... I do believe you can un-screw it from the boot and put a plug in the whole if you don't want to use it.

This isn't funky-- but it sure is BORING and cheap! The leather is wrinkling on the bottom of the saddle. I also see a horribly chafing girth. :( Some horse is going to be super unlucky.
