Great ride today!

So I'm not as excited as I was before due to stuff that happened once I got home but I thought I should tell you all about my ride!

It went wonderful! I had a barn friend bring me her 100% wool skito and guess what?! No slipping or at least very little!! That's right! I was so excited. Dixie did great today and I actually feel like we can move forward instead of feeling like we're in the same position as we've been in for the past few months.

And then another super duper exciting thing happened today, Dixie picked up her left lead without doing a figure 8!!!!! Dixie has not been able to pick up her left lead without trouble for many months. I got her adjusted about a month ago; her left hip and shoulder were out. I'm so happy that that's why she couldn't pick it up!! I was so proud of her!


I'm really sorry, I have no pictures! I will try to get some when I go out next time, we were just all busy riding!

Thats awesome Annie! I feel for you about :pthe lead lead we still haven't got it. :( maybe 1 out of 3 times we do but we'll get there. So thats a HUGE deal congrats

FSA, no I'm sorry! I will be sure to get some within the next week or so, I'm really due for some new pictures with everybody! I still haven't gotten the trail pics from my friend
