I keep having to sign in every few minutes ..... so what the heck am I doing wrong?

Me too! Thank goodness this one doesn't delete posts because I just typed out a big ol' post and when I hit "submit" it told me I wasn't logged on again! I logged on and my post came back - good thing because I wouldn't have bothered typing it out again.

When I logged in the first time I clicked the little button that said "Keep me logged in" or something like that...I haven't been logged out since. Everytime I get online I'm already logged in. It's nice...I don't have to type my username and password out all the time.

Ditto what JGH said. I haven't had to login again since the first day...

Hmmmm.... Well, have you checked "remember me" when you log in? Hubby did say earlier that it will log you out if you don't click anything for 15 minutes, unless that is checked, then it should stay OK - forever, till you log out.

It might be this is related to the trouble MsEddi is having I don't know.

I know it is not happening to me. So it's hard for me to check what it is. Write in as much detail as you can what happens for hubby to check out when he gets home (which will be in just a little while). How many people is this happening to? What browser?

Ditto. Me too. Checked the "keep me logged in" box. I'm still goog to go.:)

Just now, when I posted to the vet thread and had to log back in, I checked the "rememer me" button so we'll see if it happens again. I had only just logged back in and been typing though (maybe 8 minutes) when it logged me out. I'll let you know if it happens again.

I haven't had to log back in either on the laptop or my desktop... but this afternoon I was on a school library computer and I had to log back in twice... but as we all know I was on for several hours. :D

When I had to log back in it saved what I'd typed, which made me *very* happy!

Aw, I wasn't so lucky. I typed out a big long post last night and then had to log back in but it didn't save the post for me. :( I clicked remember me on the other computer so I'll see if that fixed it for me.

Really? That has happened to me, but it always has saved my posts (pictures, links, everything that was in it, too!).

I checked the remember me box and every thing seems to be fine now

Yeah I don't know what happened. It also was when they changed the smilies so I don't know if the change in the coding or whatever had to do with it. *shrug* I retyped it and went on with my life, lol.
