When I post a thread it's not allowing me to insert an image. The button has changed but when I rest the mouse on it it still says "insert image." And when I click it I get the same web address box. However, when I insert the address (ie photobucket link) like I normally do nothing happens.
In addition the 'quotes' button is not working for me either. When I put in the text, highlight it and click the 'wrap [quote] tags around text' button nothing happens.
Is this just me?:(

No, it's happened to me too, but only on my home computer, so it must be computer related. It works fine here at work.
But I did find a way around it. If you'll just hand-key the tags around the address of your picture, it will post. It doesn't show up on the preview when keyed that way, but it does work when you post it.

Frog, any idea what's different about your home computer that would make that true?
I'm just not sure what would be going on.
AU - if you are using photobucket, I'd copy the ready made tags photobucket provides, just because it's easier, but I'm not sure why the button isn't working for you. It should.
Using the button here, just to test it...

hmmm... frog, what IE do you have at home?
I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I have IE 7 (the new one, not really sure the #) at work, and the older version of IE at home. Maybe that's what the issue is, because I'm normaly on at work, and don't have any of these issues!

It appears to be working fine for me, but I'll take a look at it when I get home this evening.
Is it happening in the Quick Reply or the full reply screen, or both?

Both
Thanks for the [img] instructions... that's how I've been doing the quotes, but I didn't know the code for images. Thanks!!!

I just logged in on IE6 to post this, and it works, so it's not strictly a browser version issue. It may be a configuration setting on the browser, though.

I'll have to look when I get home, but seems like it used to work up until last week. I've tried a power off and back on. Sometimes that helps, but not this time. I'll letcha know what I got when I get home.

This makes me wonder if javascript is disabled on your browser. The editor buttons require javascript to be able to work their magic.
